Relaxing stay in Lucca

I loved the aesthetic of the attic apartment and the building in general. The location was perfect, right in the center of the old town, with many restaurants bars and shops around, and just a 3 minute walk to the Lucca summer festival stage. The kitchen was very well-equipped. Bed was comfortable and the AC in the bedroom was appreciated. Enjoyed the sofa and portable AC in the living room. Good wi-fi. I felt safe as a solo female traveller as the door had a large metal bar latch.

Climbing four flights of stairs was tough with a 20kg luggage, but it was a small price to pay :) Kettle was dirty, I used a pot to heat water instead. Sometimes the key to the apartment wouldn't turn, but I eventually got the hang of it. No shower gel or hand wash provided. No full-body mirror.

Warning that the apartment was on the fourth floor meaning that on arrival (and less so on departure) that getting luggage to (& from) the apartment was difficult - especially as we arrived in the middle of the day!

Lovely apartment, excellent location. Very good for 2 persons, well equipped. Forth floor, so noise from the streets did not disturb. Excellent Finnish Fiskars knives in the kitchen. Strong recommendation.

Location amazing, right in the centre, very clean and tidy.

Location was excellent

It was freezing, I know it’s February but we couldn’t change the heating to make it warmer. We were really cold throughout.There were no instructions of any type to help us in any way, with any appliances. Also the coffee machine looks wonderful but we couldn’t find the right capsules to use, maybe leave a couple so we can go and buy more. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable as a sofa, it was all unzipped so we couldn’t really sit on it comfortably. There were no instructions about Lucca at all, it would be nice to have recommendations of the area.

Ideal im Zentrum der Stadt, gern wieder!

- Sehr gute und schnelle Kommunikation mit dem freundlichen Gastgeber. - Perfekte Lage, die Stufen waren ja schließlich keine Überraschung! - Wer den italienischen Lebensstil und den dazugehörigen Trubel bis in die Nacht so mag wie wir, der wird dieses Appartement lieben :-)

Ausschließlich Details ... die Dusche ist z.B. etwas eng und unpraktisch, aber hey, wir sind in einem Altbau mitten in Lucca, da darf das so sein! Der Charme und die Lage der Wohnung machen derartige Kleinigkeiten locker wieder wett!

Posizione centrale e vicina ad ogni punto strategico, supermercati compresi. Palazzo meraviglioso e antico. Ci siamo trovati molto bene e ci piacerebbe ripetere la medesima esperienza

Non è specificato che l’appartamento è al 4 piano senza ascensore, per noi non è stato affatto un problema, ma specificarlo sarebbe utile per chi può avere difficoltà. Booking dovrebbe aggiornare il costo della tassa di soggiorno perché viene dichiarato euro 2,5 a persona al giorno invece il proprietario ci ha informati che la regione Toscana da poco ha portato la tassa a euro 3,50. Un euro a testa in più al giorno fa tanta differenza

Torneremo presto

Posizione eccellente, palazzo bello e suggestivo, mansardina accogliente, proprietario disponibile e gentile ci ha aiutato anche con i bagagli. Piccole pecche, qualche spiffero dalle finestre, poca luminosità artificiale, bagno troppo minimale anche se dotato del kit bagno. In conclusione se dovessimo tornare a Lucca... sicuramente sarà la nostra scelta.
