Paradigm Court, Modern 3-Bedroom Flat 1, Oxford

- great location: There is a bus in walking distance to Oxford City Center departing every 15 minutes. The ride takes approx 30min and stops in summertown where one can find lots of restaurants and shops. Also in 10min walking distance from the property is a great playground. Supermarkets. - the apartment has two bathrooms. - parking in front of the door - quiet and friendly neighbourhood - it felt clean

- the house has been poorly insulated. In summer it heats up 5-6 degrees above outside temperature. We didnt have a single night where the rooms cooled below 30degree. The fans provided didnt help. Its not possible to open the windows despite the air being cooler outside. They close automatically unless you put something in between to avoid closing. We found a broken chair in a wardrobe and could keep one window open. However, as the apartment is on the ground floor its not possible to do this overnight to avoid someone comes into the apartment. The apartment has two entrance doors. We tried to open both at the same time but also there one of the adults always had to be in the room to avoid anyone comes in. - There are several identical houses with each 4 apartments next to each other. People need to walk along the window to reach their entrance doors. - Its very confusing when people are new. We had neighbours banging on both of the entrances doors in the middle of the night because they mixes up the house. - A lot of stuff is broken in the house: window handle (we couldn’t open that window even if we wanted), one lock of the entrance doors does not work, the bar where the shower-head hangs on is very loose and I always feared it would fall down when we showered. - the bedrooms are very small so they do not only heat up quickly but there is also no space for wardrobes in one of them. - a broken chair in the wardrobe. - The host offers a 10% discount if people give afterwards full star rating. I assume that explains several far too good reviews for the property.

It was last minute, as were let down by our original booking when we arrived, so booking weren’t covered in glory, but they did sort it!! But we were very pleased with our choice and will use it again I’m sure!!

The party (talking and music) noises from upstairs customers lasted until 4:00 in the mid night, couldn't sleep at all, the room is good condition but poor noise proof.
