We spent Christmas here and had a wonderful time. Our lodge was decorated for Christmas and had a lovely tree. Our host left us Prosecco, mince pies and milk which was very welcome. The lodge is lovely and warm and well equipped. Very close to park and ride to Oxford and easy access to Blenheim for their marvellous Christmas display and lights.

We loved the location to Oxford and surrounding areas.

I would recommend that the owners sign post the property better - it needs a large sign outside the gates visible from the road.

Beautiful grounds, exceptional in fact. Spacious accommodations, great kitchen, wonderful beds. Close to the Park and Ride. Lots of wildlife: ducks, geese, rabbits, tiny deer and birds.

Communication with host was poor and soured the experience for us. Nothing written down and we were expected to guess what we needed to do. Bring your own toilet paper, they supply only one roll per bathroom and we stayed 5 nights. Not a normal holiday home experience. This should be a great place for children with lots of lovely outdoor space to play however the railings on the balconies are rotting a child could easily push through and get injured. Lots of flying insects and no screens on the windows. We were glad we were not there in summer.
