Lodge Farm - Stunning 3 Bed with Large Garden!

The house is lovely. It's spacious and welcoming. The decor is pleasant.

The conservatory area gets too hot to sit in. The house is next to a busy road. We wish we had checked this on maps before we booked. There's no safe footpath from the property to the nearest village pub. You have to walk along the busy road which is not great if you have a dog or young children. I was really disappointed that the back gate in the garden, which is shown on the property pics as being accessible is actually not. It leads on to private property and there is a sign that states this, when you get there. Even though the photo does not. We were hoping to walk the dog in the field beyond. I had to contact housekeeping a number of times as we were told that bedding would be left out for the sofa bed and it wasn't. We had to hunt for it. Also many of the TV remote controls did not have batteries and we couldn't find the guest folder. It is frustrating when you arrive at a property to spend an unnecessary amount of time looking for elements that would have been easy to make available by housekeeping. Housekeeping were slow to respond to our questions around bedding, locating the sofa bed, guest folder and spare batteries. All a bit of a faff to be honest. We all just wanted to decompress and enjoy our break.

Lovely stay, clean with everything with you need. Hosts are easy to communicate with and very responsive.

good bathrooms plenty of space comfy sofas good bed in master bedroom parking for at least 3 cars

Busy noisy road right next to house 3rd bedroom very small double - probably 4ft - too small and unexpected no cushions for outside furniture no oven gloves garden messy no information about surrounding area walks etc
