A good stay overall. The views are lovely and the location is great — close to one of the beaches and plenty of restaurants, with solid WiFi throughout. There are stairs up to the apartment, but we didn’t mind them.
A few heads-ups for future guests. The AC is controlled by a small, easy-to-miss magnetic sensor above the balcony door; the door slides and doesn’t always close in line with it, which quietly shuts the AC off. We didn’t know the sensor existed — worth knowing in advance. Carlos, the host, was prompt to respond and quick to fix problems, though his manner could come across as a bit snarky; he explained the sensor only after lecturing us about it. Getting a second key also took some back and forth, but we got there.
