The Lakeside Haven

The apartment is excellent, and the view from the balcony is beautiful. It is very family-friendly, including for families with small children. The location in the Old Town is fantastic, close to the Upper Gate, and evening walks around the amphitheatre are a wonderful bonus. The host was great, everything was top-notch, and the apartment exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend staying here. The apartment is accessible by car. Our children’s trailer, which has larger 20-inch wheels, handled the streets without any problems. However, regular baby strollers may be difficult to use because of the steep hills, uneven streets, and stone shaped blocks for the streets that are common in the Old Town.

Izuzetna lokacija, odlična opremljenost i čistoća, prelep pogled i obezbeđeno perking mesto. Domaćini veoma prijatni i gostoljubivi.

Couldn't have wished for a better apartment, it definitely exceeded expectations! The amazing view of the lake, mountains and old town really made our holiday and we would not hesitate in booking again. Communication was very good with the owner who came and met us to find the apartment in the maze of streets around Ohrid! There is a free designated parking space right outside so ideal if you are hiring a car. The apartment itself is roomy with a double bed which has a very comfy mattress. Linen was changed halfway through our stay which was much appreciated. There is a kitchen area with hob, kettle and sink; plenty of crockery, cutlery and saucepans available plus a large fridge freezer so great for self catering. The bathroom has a shower with hot water always available although it it quite narrow so may not be accessible for all. The apartment is all one level with a few low steps outside. The street itself is cobbled and the area is quite steep. Location is perfect, in the heart of the old town with most sights and amenities very close by. Ohrid itself has everything you could need including supermarkets, restaurants, bars, cash machines, shops etc a very short walk away. The view is stunning and the balcony is roomy allowing for you to relax and unwind. All in all a great apartment, good value and centrally located.

Nothing we didn't like, the apartment is on a fairly steep hill so could be a problem for those with mobility or access issues.
