Very exceptional stay with an amazing staff.

Wonderful place to stay!

Ana was an excellent host - attentive, welcoming, and professional. The villa is perfectly located near the lake in the old town, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The room was spotless, and the balcony was a wonderful addition. The TV featured live broadcasts of top soccer leagues, which was a great bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return. Ana is the perfect host , offering advice, booking restaurants , nothing is too much trouble . The apartment is spotless with wonderful views and balcony . It’s equipped with anything you might need . The location is brilliant right next to lake in the old town . Very short walks to restaurants etc . Can’t recommend highly enough

Fantastic location, view, host and on-site parking

Everything was amazing! The host was awesome and gave us an upgraded apartment with a great view down to the lake and lots of space. The location, the really comfortable bed, the excellent recommendations and genuine helpfulness from Ana. Parking on-site, then not needing our car for our stay. A shared kitchen if you wanted it. (No ATM fee at Silk Road Bank…not sure about other Banks)

Room was lovely and large, airy, clean and full of light! We loved the location in the old town and had a nice view of the lake. Perfect for a family of four! Kids loved the waterfront area to access the lake and paddleboard from. There was a kitchen on each floor with everything you could need. Ana and her husband helped us with our luggage from another location ..going above and beyond!! Ana was amazing xx Perfect stay x

A perfect stay — peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly welcoming!

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Dudanov with our baby, and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely amazing—right by the lake, with crystal-clear water just steps from the villa, and only a short and scenic walk to the stunning Old Town of Ohrid. Being able to wake up to that view and enjoy peaceful mornings by the lake was truly special. The villa itself is spotless and well-maintained. Towels were changed regularly, and everything felt fresh, clean, and comfortable—especially important when traveling with a little one. It’s clear that the place is cared for with love and attention to detail. Ana, our host, was wonderful. Warm, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. She made us feel completely at home, and even kindly allowed our friends to join us on the villa’s private beach. That gesture meant a lot to us and made our experience even more memorable. Traveling with a baby can be challenging, but this stay was genuinely relaxing. We felt safe, supported, and welcomed every single day. Villa Dudanov offered the perfect balance of comfort, nature, and hospitality. We will 100% be coming back. This place has our hearts, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay. The whole accommodation, facilities, cleanliness and location are incredible, but Ana's kindness was the highlight of our stay. A very charming place to stay while in Ohrid

The host showed up on the balcony when we arrived. She helped us with our luggage, the police registration for foreigners, local information and with arranging a taxi to Tirana airport. She made sure that everything was taken care of for our stay. Except for this, the location of the villa was very central with an easy access to the tourist attractions and restaurants in the old town of Ohrid.

Everything was perfect. I don't have any negative thoughts about the villa or the location, or anything. Travelling to Ohrid from Skopje was long and there were no direct flights to London. Despite Ohrid being the birthplace of the Cyrillic alphabet, there was no museum for it.

A lovely location, right by the lake but handy for the old town. It was easy to swim here and very peaceful. Comfortable, clean and well organised. Best of all was Ana, our host. She was charming, kind and very helpful. Thank you Ana. We hope to return one day.

Absolutely everything, lake side view, right next to Sofia church. Minutes from the beach bars. Ana is one of the most attentive hosts I have ever stayed with and provided us with all the local knowledge we needed and helped us to organise our itinerary really well. Could not recommend staying at villa dudanov more.

Fantastic apartment made more special by a great host.

Lovely apartment centrally situated yards from the lake in the old part of Ohrid. Room was clean and comfortable and the en-suite perfectly adequate. There is a seperate, universal, small kitcchen for making hot drinks etc. We were met by Ana who had given instructions to our driver about how to find the apartment. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was enjoyable, giving us lots of tips about Ohrid and bookied a catamaran trip on the lake for us.. She also sorted out the taxi for our onward trip to Albania. There is no lift but Ana arranged for our case to be brought up/down stairs for us.

Nothing could have been better. The accommodation, the location and the welcome by our friendly and hospitable host could nolt have been better.
