Comfortable, clean and quiet apartment

A beautiful and spacious apartment in the heart of Ohrid Old Town. The key was easily collected from a reception desk. The apartment was comfortable, clean and quiet.

Lack of air-conditioning unit. Even though the temperature was very pleasant at night, an air-conditioning unit would be welcomed for warm summer days. Furthermore, the prime location of the apartment requires that the parking reserved for guests is ~400m away and uphill. Having this information in advance was helpful to not carry a big suitcase with me, but future guests should be aware of this detail. Rating further downgraded due to the host's unfriendly reply to constructive feedback.

Great location in amazing Lake Ohrid.

Villa Pupin is in a fantastic Old Town location. We stayed in the attic room, which was cozy and had enough space for us, The shared outdoor area for this room is down the hall. The nights were nice and quiet, and it was an easy walk to the shops, restaurants, and lakeside sights we wanted to visit.

Be prepared for a short walk downhill over cobblestones from the parking area—it wasn’t too bad, just something to know in advance. We did have an AC issue and when we asked for help with it, we were just told how to turn it on again which didn’t help anything. Fortunately, I was able to figure out that the filters just needed a good cleaning and all was working properly. If you’re not a fan of stairs, this particular room might not be the best fit.

Great choice in Ohrid

The accommodation has a perfect location right in the historic center of Ohrid, so everything is within walking distance. The room was very clean, which I really appreciated. The internet was fast, making it easy to work during my stay. A special thanks to the host Vlatko, who was extremely helpful, kind, and made sure we felt comfortable.

Beautiful apartment in the best possible location

The apartment was beautifully decorated and the location was amazing, right in the centre of the old town, walking distance to everything. We loved the cave bar. The views from the balcony were beautiful.

A couple of the fittings need repairing but it was only a small issue. The parking is up a very steep hill but it was worth it for the location of the accommodation.

It is right in the centre of the old town, walking distance to anywhere in Ohrid. It is very comfortable, modern and well maintained property. Clean throughout and the host Vlatko is great and quick to respond to messages. Absolute pearl in Ohrid.

Great location and very clean accommodation in Lake Ohrid!

We loved our stay at Villa Pupin. It was the perfect location next to Lake Ohrid and they allowed us to check in very late as we drove from Albania at night. They upgraded us so we could have more space and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. The property was very cute as well and we had a great view from our room!

Place is stunning, located in the heart of old town, so the road to apartments might be tricky, but interesting :) We were lucky to have parking lot right in front of apartment, but off site parking also is fine! Very clean, cozy, and staff is very welcoming, thanks for having us!

Well located beautiful place

Beautiful place, very clean, in the old town close to the lake. Parking is outside the old town walls and up the hill, but then from the property to the lake is an easy walk. We were lucky we got an upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment, and the owner was able to accommodate an early check in.

2 nights in Ohrid!

Location was perfect in the old town but away from the hectic news with the waterside a 2 minute walk. Clever room layout and use of space - we stayed in the attic room (note- it's very easy to knock your head due to the slanting roof line if not careful). The winery (a shared lounge) is definitely worth hanging out in.

There was no air-conditioning in the room, I'd imagine it could get really hot in the peak summer months. We kept the attic window open for airflow at night.

Best place to stay when visiting Ohrid

Fantastic location in Ohrid's old town - a block away from the lake. Check in was easy - I had informed reception of my arrival time and as it fell during reception hours, Vlatko was at reception to give me the key to the apartment. The apartment was up a flight of stairs and I would have been OK to carry my bag but it was carried up for me. The apartment was so clean, modern, well-kept, well-decorated. It was so spacious with a balcony, living room with a very comfortable sofa, large TV, dining table and quirky lighting fixtures, bathroom with a rain shower, kitchen area, and bedroom with good storage and another TV. Breakfast was not included in my stay but that was not a problem as there are nearby grocery stores and I could prepare a warm/cold breakfast in the apartment. Communication was good via booking.com and what's app with Vlatko who speaks good English. He also helped arrange a taxi for me to get to the bus station on my last day. Check in out was easy - I just had to leave the key in the room.

I wish I could have stayed longer as it was such a lovely apartment.
