New Forest Cottage with Hot Tub, Fireplace and Private Garden

Nice private hideaway perfect if you are going to Poultons park. Friendly owners and plenty to do for the kids. Will be back.

I had a fantastic stay here with my two young kids! The location could not have been better; being just a 6-minute drive from Peppa Pig World made our trip so easy and stress-free. The cottage itself was wonderful. Even though we happened to visit during a couple of very hot days, the owners thoughtfully provided two fans which kept us comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook dinners, and because the weather was so nice, we ate all our meals outside using the lovely outdoor seating area instead of eating indoors. The hot tub was also set to a cooler temperature, which was amazing—the kids absolutely loved splashing around in it! Overall, it was a wonderful, memorable stay, and I’d highly recommend it to families visiting the area. We’d love to come back!

The only tiny thing I would have appreciated was a quick hello/introduction from the owners. Since the cottage shares a driveway right next door to their main house, as a parent staying on my own with two young children, it always gives a bit extra peace of mind to briefly meet the people you're staying near. That being said, I completely understand that many guests prefer total privacy and quiet!

Hot tub needed cleaning but the hosts sorted it almost immediately!

Nice modern furnishings, enclosed garden/ patio which is a sun trap and the hot tub was a good size.

You can hear the traffic from the motorway and not many walks on the doorstep, you have to walk on a few busy roads to get to any greenery which wasn’t ideal for dog walks.
