The location is special, the facility is comfortable with extra amenities on site and close by. Exceeding our expectations completely, it’s a lovely place even before you get into the New Forest ! We hope to go back !

Loved the beautiful views and how peaceful it was. Lovely to wake up and hear the horses. Very well placed for exploring the New Forest. Beautiful bell tent with a lovely comfy bed.

The portaloo which was a 1 minute walk from the tent and was full of flies flying up from inside the toilet, so I couldn't use it. It is maintained weekly but in hot weather would be a good idea to have this cleaned more frequently. Serviced toilets are very clean but are further away.

This getaway couldn’t have come at a better time or been more perfect. If you’re wanting to switch off totally, take it back to basics and just feel at one this is definitley the place! Beautiful setting, very comfy bed and clean. Beautiful horses on the fields which were an amazing view from the shower block. We also caught an amazing sunset through the fields. Lovely owners, and would recommend lyndhurst shops and pubs. Dog friendly too, our border collie Luna looked so happy and free :) the weather was beautiful so we didn’t need the log burner but I can imagine just how cosy that would have been and everything was provided for that. The bluebell tent was beautifully lit and even had a lovely comfy sofa. Towels and bed linen also provided which was great!

I couldn’t find any fault. The owners came around and made sure we were okay and had everything we needed :)

A beautiful, quiet location in a picturesque village.

The nearest toilet was a smelly portaloo that we refused to use, so we had to walk quite far to use an indoor toilet. On one of the days the dog belonging to the owners followed us back to the tent and wouldn't leave us alone - it kept trying to force its way into the tent for quite a while, then it took our washing up bowl and ran off with it. The gas bottle for the shower facilities ran out during our stay, so we had to have freezing cold showers one morning. The whole experience didn't feel very "glam" and I'd rather pay a lot less and stay in a normal tent in future.
