An excellent, quiet location within easy walking distance of downtown Stresa -train station; ferry terminal; shopping; parks. The apartment was very clean with tasteful modern appliances. Although located in an older style building, a lift was available. The apartment is on the top floor of the building, so views over the Lake are quite spectacular. Our hostess was professional and courteous. Stresa has a lot to offer, so please consider a 3 night stay.
Their is a balcony overlooking the main view but it is tiny and sadly has room for only one chair. The apartment has dining room chairs and a day bed (which is very handy but uncomfortable for sitting) and could really benefit from the provision of one or two comfortable sitting chairs -somewhere to relax, read your book and enjoy your glass of wine!

GREAT location - unbeatable- with a fantastic top floor view. We felt so lucky to have the apartment to stay in while in Stresa. Very comfortable bed and so helpful to have Fede's recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Good communication also, we had a great time.
Would have been nice to have more cooking facilities as it was just bits and pieces and as a result we just ate breakfast in the apartment and didn't cook at all. Which actually wasn't so bad as there were plenty of food options around!

Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal, fußläufig ins Zentrum, zum Flussufer, zum Bootsanleger und zu Wanderwegen. Ein Parkplatz ist Glückssache, bei der Ankuft hat Federica einen für uns blockieren können, etwas besseres hätte uns nach der langen Anreise nicht passieren können. Die Wohnung selbst entspricht den Bildern, alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Blick ist super! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
