Overall quite disappointing and not the most comfortable stay.

The parking was convenient. The architecture of the apartment was very elegant.

The owners require a deposit to be held and there is no flexibility on check in/check out, unless you pay more. The apartment is beautiful but needs some care and attention, the shower is mouldy and everything felt a bit dirty. We requested a cot for our toddler and was told it would be provided. On arrival there was no cot set up and no sheets for the cot once we had found it in a cupboard. When I asked about this, the owner ignored my messages.

After a very long journey we were excited to arrive, only to be on the verge of giving up and going to a hotel.

The property was very comfortable and well equipped, the bed was extremely comfortable. With ideal parking.

To enter the property was virtually impossible! Our PIN number we were given did NOT WORK! To open the large gate to enter into the car park and access to our property. Several other residents coming into the property went above and beyond to assist us. We rang the number for the owner only an to get a message in very speedy French, in fact my phone rang the number 10 times, eventually I received a text to say text him instead of ringing. One of the residents got through to him and after nearly 2 hours we got into the garage and our apartment.

Lovely old appartment with beautiful decorations- just very lovely . Beds were great and comfortable, lounge and settee were great and the location is absolutely spot on! Just a 3’ walk to the main square of arras - which is a lovely town. Parking in the courtyard was excellent as well - just so convenient. A great place to stay - really characterful and great

bathroom was a bit in need of an upgrade/deep clean- all smelt a bit musty although it is an old building . Comms with the hosts wasn’t great but minor details really

Overnight stop

Excellent location. Very convenient to access Grand Place & shops. High ceilings making it spacious. Nice kitchen & seating area. Private parking was a bonus. There was a market on the Sunday, which was great. Arras is a stunning town, very friendly people. 😊

Struggled with access to the apartment. While the apartment looks great, it needs upkeep. Sofa sagged & was marked. The bathroom was grubby in the shower. Maintenance needed. Shower gel cannister, but empty. There was the bare minimum all round. There was no hand towel & nothing to dry dishes within the kitchen. Had to use our bath towel. Found it strange that we had to provide details for a key deposit before getting access code for keys. This was after we had already paid in full. Have never been asked for this in any booking. I did not meet owners. Their communication was OK, but found them a bit abrupt.

Perfect location

A Lot of noise during the night on the parking place. Bedrooms were not clean, dust and hairs Dirty sheets from previous visitors were still in the room. Above all a 300€ deposit to get the entrance codes for the room, and this for 120€ a night stay, this is ridicule. Not to recommend

Need to tell people that the drive way is narrow getting in from the road. We have a medium sized vehicle and we scratched the back of it getting in.

Great for a weekend to explore Arras and WW1 heritage sights!

Great location, walking distance from the town center and the main 2 squares! Private parking, and easy to find the apt. Very spacious living room and comfy beds. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom was great.

It was cold inside and we couldn't really turn the heat up. Host said we could, but didn't offer further help. It was not properly advertized that the 2 bedrooms/beds were actually in the same space (1 is on ground level, the other is above it on a metal construction and wooden staircase, but it's all open and inside the same room basically. The couch in the living room should be a more comfortable one, so the apt is more cosy to hang and relax out in. Water in toilet continues running after flushing.

Just don’t!

Location

Appalling communication. Just didn’t respond to messages, phone calls or any concerns over large unannounced deposits. Forced to click on external links to put large security deposits on hold for many days before keys are released. Apartment not clean, cigarette burn marks in sofa, door locks drilled out and left on the pavement caused safety and security concerns, a third of a roll of toilet paper only, dirty shower tray in need of repair. This really is the worse of apartment rental. Looks great in photos. The reality is very different. Too many more horrors to list. Believe me just find somewhere else!

A great bolthole, superbly located, with secure parking

A very comfortable, cosy bolthole, brilliantly located in the centre of this beautiful old town, with everything we needed right on the doorstep. Secure parking was a real bonus. We were grateful for the restaurant recommendations too - we had a delicious meal at La Cave des Saveurs.

If there were coffee pods for the machine, I missed them!

Heating is an issue

Spacious and really well decorated. The features are really beautiful - exactly like the pictures.

- the heating system is not practical at all. Having to contact the owner each time you need to use it (turn it on or ask to adjust the temperature). However, I must highlight that the owner replies and actions quickly. - not very clean. - parking: it was not easy to understand where exactly the correct allocated space was.

nuit compliquée dans un bel appartement sans électricité, c'est dommage...

L'appartement est spacieux, décoré avec goût. Il est très bien situé dans l'hyper centre de Arras, à quelques mètres seulement des 2 belles places. Le logement est très bien équipé. Le fait d'avoir une plus de parking privé est un réel avantage. Dommage que la place de parking ne soit disponible qu'à partir de 16 heures.

Nous avons malheureusement enchaîné les déconvenues, ce qui a complètement gâché notre séjour d'une nuit ( décembre 2025 ) : 1) Nous n'avions pas la clé du verrou de l'appartement : nous n'avons pas pu entrer dans le logement. Nous avions bien récupéré 3 clés dans la boîte à clé mais ce n'était pas la bonne. Il a fallu contacter le gestionnaire de l'appartement pour résoudre le problème et entrer par une autre porte. 15 minutes de perdues... 2) Une fois entrés dans l'appartement, il n'y avait pas d'électricité. L'appartement était dans le noir ( il fait nuit tôt l'hiver ). Il a fallu trouvé le disjoncteur. Une fois le courant rétabli, nous avons passé 1 heure et demi à nous battre car les plombs sautaient toutes les 10 secondes, dès qu'on allumait 1 seule lumière. Nous avons dû débrancher tous les appareils de l'appartement ( télé, box WIFI, radiateurs électriques, cafetière, bouilloire ), pour pouvoir juste avoir de la lumière et vivre un minimum dans l'appartement le soir. 3) Nous avons passé la nuit sans chauffage, nous n'avons pas pu utiliser le moindre équipement sinon le courant sautait. Pas de repas chaud puisque le four, la bouilloire, le micro ondes faisaient disjoncter le courant dès qu'on tentait de brancher le moindre appareil. Le poêle à pelé était vide, il n'y avait aucun granulé dans la réserve. Nous avons dîné froid, sans chauffage. Pour prendre une douche, nous ne savions pas si nous aurions assez d'eau chaude pour 3 adultes. Heureusement, la seule pièce où le chauffage fonctionnait sans problème, bizarrement, c'était la salle de bain. 4) Le gestionnaire ne nous a contactés que par SMS, cela ne nous a pas aidé. 5) Et pour finir, le lendemain matin, au moment de partir, nous sommes restés bloquer dans le parking. La télécommande de la barrière électrique ne marchait plus ! Impossible de sortir notre véhicule du parking privé !

Het was er in de ochtenden en avonden nogal fris. Het was onmogelijk om constant hierover op te nemen. Onze verzoeken om contact werden niet beantwoord, Er was weliswaar een eigen parkeermogelijkheid. Maar we vonden elke ochtend een briefje onder de voorruit van buren dat we daar niet mochten staan.

Emplacement très bien pour visiter le centre d’Arras. Matelas confortable pour passer une bonne nuit. L’appartement est plutôt calme et joliment décoré.

Propreté plutôt bof, surtout la toute petite salle de bain qui est loin d’être clean. Il semble que nous n’avons pas eu de chance car pas d’eau chaude le soir de notre arrivée. Dans la cuisine sur 5 lumières seulement 2 fonctionnent.

A fuir pour éviter une arnaque à la caution

Attention: le propriétaire de cet appartement n’est pas sérieux. D’abord, il demande une caution de 300€ par autorisation de carte de crédit, ce qui est exceptionnel sur Booking . Le verrouillage électronique de la boîte à clés ne fonctionnait pas. Nous y avons laissé les clés en partant le matin vers 10:00, l’avons refermée et avons téléphoné pour informer le propriétaire qu’elle était fermée mais pas verrouillée. Pas de réponse, donc nous avons laissé un message vocal et avons envoyé un message par booking le matin même. Le propriétaire a répondu vers 11:00 que si les clés étaient volées, il prendrait une partie de la caution. Le soir vers 20:00 il nous annonçait que c’était le cas et qu’il débitait 150€ de la caution. Il a écrit aux locataires suivants que nous avions volé les clés! Il avait écrit de même le 24 février 2024 (voir commentaire du locataire de cette date). Ce n’est qu’après menace juridique qu’il a accepté de ne pas débiter la caution. 1. Sachant que le propriétaire était très tôt informé du dysfonctionnement de sa boîte, c’était sa responsabilité de faire récupérer les clés au plus tôt. 2. Comme la boîte à clés était au fond d’une impasse privée, la probabilité qu’un voleur la vérifie ce jour là était quasi nulle. 3. Le fait de débiter un montant de 150€ ne correspondant à aucune facture, mais purement et simplement à la moitié de la caution, montre le manque de sérieux de ce monsieur.

La situation géographique idéal du logement à 2 pas du centre ville. Appartement très propre

La récupération des clefs par un petit coffre de sécurité est un peu compliquée de même que l'accès au logement !!! Juste 2 choses à signaler au propriétaire : l'évier de la salle de bain s'écoule très mal (presque bouché). La chasse d'eau du toilette est à mon avis à remplacer car selon l'utilisation, un filet d'eau continue à couler (attention à la facture !!!! dans pareil cas)
