The house is great for a larger family or group, although some of the bedrooms are very small.

Check-in was simple, however due to a glitch we did not recieve the full welcome instructions and were hit with multiple parking fines for parking on the street on our first night. Thankfully the company have agreed to reimburse this, but we are still wiating on receiving the funds.

Better infomration of the parking restrictions within the listing would be advised, as it appeared to say that street parking was allowed, when in fact there is only a dedicated specific space included. A rear parking space accessible from the laneway behind the building was completely inaccessible to our vehicle (mid-sized 4WD) due to a very tight corner on approach that was impossible to navigate and ended up scratching our rental vehicle.

Comfortable and cosy. Very comfy beds and we all slept very well. Great kitchen with lots of ovens and fridges. Once we found the short cut to town through the tunnel and the gardens, it was a much shorter walk.

We had a great few days in York. The house was lovely and clean in a great location.

Great location just a 10/15 min walk from the centre. Liked that all the bedrooms all had en suites

Toiletries were small and there are a few bits which need attention (and we will feed back) and given how responsive they were we are confident these will be addressed. They didn't detract from our stay.

Great location to city, clean and all bedrooms en-suite

Really nice house with great location! 5 double bedrooms all with en-suites. Well equipped kitchen with good size dining and living space. Parking around the back is good for 2x medium size cars - use the alley to the right of the property, not the left as it is far easier to get around the corner.

Could do with some oven gloves, but that's about it!

Bathrooms very tight /small & sink in some bathroom needed extra bath mat to collect water as couldn’t get your head over sink banged it on the wall. Some bulbs were out upstairs Fan not working so had to buy one as very hot.

Every room had an ensuite. Lounge area, dining area and kitchen large enough for 10 people.

No downstairs toilet. Inconvenience throughout the day especially for those on staying on top floor. Outside area is very small and insufficient for 10 people. Strip between kitchen and dining room slightly raised - trip hazzard.

Comfortable stay, great location excellent stay overall, would use again

Location was excellent easy walking distance to attractions in York. Quiet at night for sleeping, always plenty of hot water for showers even with full occupancy.

Excellent location for central York. Generally great accommodation well presented & clean. Very Comfy beds. One good parking space at the front & 2 parking spaces to the rear, quite tight but free! 4 couples shared a long weekend here and all would stay again.

Disappointed by the cleanliness of kitchen, food residue on utensils, pan, floor and oven grill pans & fridge had a fishy smell. Kitchen/lounge door was filthy. Ceiling stained from previous leak. Outside decking seating area was dirty & full of weeds and debris.

Perfect for city centre York for those seeking a stylish place to stay.

Very central - right by the river and very close to the Minster and central city York. A lovely, smart residential area. An imaginative high spec refurb to create 5 double bedrooms all with small en-suites. There's no separate bathroom or toilet. The beds are doubles in size. Good mattresses, bedding etc. Very well equipped kitchen. There is one parking space directly opposite the house and a very snug space at the rear . The only problem is getting a car down the narrow access lanes with sharp 90 degree angles, so it may be better to leave cars in the car park on the other side of the railway line . Maybe suitable for a Fiat 500 or small Fiesta etc. We actually used that space to enjoy the sunshine.

We would use it again

We had a great time with our three generation family in this beautifully appointed centrally located house.

I suggest that "stunning modern" be changed to "recently modernised and excellently located" . Entering the house I found mail and publicity on the doorstep which suggested that the property had been vacant some weeks. Outside the back door were the full rubbish bags of the previous occupiers (not very nice) The back gate needs repair (security issue). the dishwasher contained the unwashed crockery from the previous visitors. The dishwasher failed to clean the contents (the machine needs a thorough overhaul) and we did not use it again.
