Townhouse with Arabic pool and close to the beach in Estepona

This property is a gem. Set in a quiet neighbourhood about a 5 min walk to the old town and a further 5/10 mins down to the beach. We were on a winter sunshine break with our dog and we loved being so accessible to the beach and the town. The main beach and promenade of Estepona is so lovely and we very much enjoyed walking many kms in both directions every day in the warm winter sunshine. The weather wasn’t warm enough to use any of the outside spaces at the house but I would imagine that in the summer they would be wonderful. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our hosts were available to answer any questions at anytime and were very helpful. The parking is easy, a reserved space directly in front of the house. Yes there is a gentle slope down to the town but my hubby and I are active 61 and 69 years old and we didn’t find it any issue at all! We We loved our time here so much we will very likely return next winter. Thank you for a great stay!

Nothing really. A few very little wear & tear issues that we mentioned to our hosts in case they didn’t know - nothing too dramatic and they’ve said they’ll sort them.

The property was part of the old town and had a strong Spanish feel and was centrally located for all amenities. All necessary requirements were covered, with 3 good size bedrooms, good TV, Wifi, kitchen/cooking facilities, BBQ and some good outdoor spaces

The property was very 'tired' with a broken lampshade, stained sofa, old unstable outdoor furniture. We had to buy sofa covers from the local Carrefour. There were no manuals to provide WiFi codes, local emergency facilities like Doctors or Hospitals and the property would have certainly benefitted from 2 sets of keys. Unfortunately the iron was broken and although Aloha offered to provide a replacement it meant having to wait in, so we decided to buy our own travel iron from Carrefour. Our biggest issue was the dirty condition of the Arabic Pool which was simple unusable and reported to Aloha on arrival. Although they offered to send someone to clean it and advised that there maintenance team had visited to previously to clean it I'm afraid it was apparent that no one had. Stagnant water with a fear of infection I'm afraid and worthy of compensation
