Casa San Miguel ... Bella 🤩

We stayed in the boutique size Mykonos apartment with the roof terrace. Fair to say the stairs up to the apartment are steep but the apartment has just about everything you need for a holiday. 150m from a beach and so close to good restaurants. The property is on a quiet quaint street. We loved it.

Excellent Estepona Experience

Fantastic stay in the Mykonos apartment within Casa San Miguel. The apartment is very clean, spacious and extensively equipped for all needs. The rooftop terrace is a great outside space with again a range of facilities. The apartment is really well situated within the narrow streets of Estepona, close to all amenities and the beach. While the port is also just a 25-minute walk. To add to our stay, the apartment, if arranged, does have access to a private underground car park. The owner is very accommodating, messaging with clear instructions and photographs to support getting to the apartment and also procedures when leaving. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Beautiful little home in the heart of Estepona, cosy and practical. A lot of necessities - washing mashine, dish washer, iron - available. Easy check-in and check-out.

The bathroom is a bit narrow and not super comfortable.

First time in Estapona and loved it and the old town where we stayed was so nice , we will definitely return .

The property was perfect for a couple staying for 11 nights. It had everything that you would need while on holiday . The bedroom was a good size and we particularly liked the outside patio .

Fantastic stay

The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and extremely spacious. The roof terrace was great for chilling before and after a day of walking around the gorgeous town. The apartment is right in the middle of the town with loads of bars and restaurants around, and also very close to the seafront Anet, the owner was great, always quick to answer any questions

The accommodation is in the middle of everything, bars restaurants etc and only a very short stroll to the beach. It was short of nothing, there was everything you could possibly need for a good stay. Would thoroughly recomend this lovely place.

Disappointing

Pretty house and tastefully decorated

The front door didnt open when we arrived, 40 minutes trying. Problem with lock. If id have been o my own would e scay not being able to get in There were cockroaches every day. I also was covered in bites. Smelt very damp in there. Showers very small and trouvle with hot water I paid good money and actually moved out on the monday and had to book a hotel for 2 nights.

Very clean apartment in a nice environment. Anet is a very good host, always a quick answer and solution for questions. The patio is wonderful.

Please note that parking in environment is impossible so make sure you get your parking card for the garage via Anet.

Everything was perfect, but do note that the apartment is only accessible via staircase so challenging for less mobile people.

Top place to stay

We stayed in Mykonos, the one bed with a roof terrace…and what a terrace 😎 definitely the best feature of the apartment. Entry to the apartment was very easy with the use of a key safe, no traipsing around town to collect keys was a great bonus. Casa San Miguel is in the heart of the old town, just steps away from the main pedestrianised restaurant street, but not exposed to its bustling noise. It’s also close to the La Rada beach and a supermarket. When we arrived the IPTV wasn’t working but the friendly agent sorted this for us, the Wi-Fi worked throughout the property so you could stream tv if you wanted to. Plenty of crockery etc if you chose to dine in…but with so many restaurants in Estepona we didn’t, and usefully a washing machine and dishwasher.

Suggested improvements would be to the water pressure in the showers and lack of clothes storage (chest of drawers rather than bedside tables could be a simple solution). For people that aren’t familiar with the area, slightly clearer directions may help them but we know the area well so found it without problem and knew where to park our car.

An enjoyable stay in the lovely historic centre of Estepona

We loved the location in the very pretty historic centre of Estepona. The house itself is attractive and has a lovely courtyard. The kitchen is small but generously equipped with crockery, cutlery etc.and the proprty is generally well- furnished and well-equipped. The bedroom is spacious, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage for clothes. The air-conditioning was very welcome. The owner was helpful and answered queries promptly.

The internal maintenance of the property was rather disappointing, with paint peeling in a number of places, broken skirting by the front door and the handrail on the staircase coming loose at one end. The stairs are quite steep and could be unsafe for older guests. The bathroom is downstairs, immediately off the kitchen. Guests should be informed of this at the time of booking.
