Isov Ranch

I really liked the hospitality of Isov family and the coziness of the house. It really felt like it was build with love. I learned that the owner build it with his own hands and it is amazing.

Nothing i loved everything

We had a very pleasant off-the-grid stay in Babino Polje. Although the property itself is very simple, the stay was comfortable and we had the whole Ranch to ourselves. The room and bathroom were fairly clean. What stood out the most to us were the hosts - they were unbelievably accommodating and friendly, making us feel right at home. They invited us into their home for tea and we couldn’t have enjoyed this experience more. They really were the loveliest family and we felt extremely lucky to have been welcomed into their home. The breakfast was the best we had on the whole Peaks of the Balkans trail and we could even take our leftovers for lunch! Overall, we would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

There weren’t any kitchen facilities really (like cutlery and plates), so we would recommend that you pay the family to have dinner at their house. Also the water pressure in the bathroom was really poor so the shower wasn’t the best, although for us this wasn’t a big deal.

Bardzo gościnna i przemiła rodzina. Dowiedzieliśmy się trochę o ich codzienności i o Czarnogórze oraz mieliśmy okazję posmakować lokalnej kuchni.

David was een ontzettend enthousiaste gastheer. Hij stond ons op te wachten na een dag stappen (Balkantrail). Het huisje is sympa maar echt geen comfort, er was geen warm water en soms geen elektriciteit. Het avondmaal en ontbijt was voortreffelijke lokale kost, heel lekker en eerlijk, heerlijk zelfgemaakt brood en verse melk, bereid door zijn vrouw bij hen thuis. We vonden het een enorme interessante beleving bij David thuis te zijn en zijn leven te leren kennen, maar voor het goede comfort moet je daar niet gaan.
