Thatched Cottage

The location gives very good access to the south Dorset coast. Our grandchildren particularly enjoyed Lyme Regis beach. The property is a lovely, quaint, olde-worlde cottage with all the modern facilities.

Great location

The boiler wouldn’t work when the shower was switched on. This meant cold showers for 4 adults and 2 kids all weekend. Because it was the weekend we were unable to contact anyone from Sykes etc. all numbers just went to voicemail. Absolutely appalling service. No fault of the cottage or cottage owner, entirely the fault of the agents

Myself and my whole family were super impressed with Thatched Cottage. We loved the cottage feel, the great beds and well equipped kitchen. The garden was a nice touch tool although it was small it was perfect. My wife was so impressed with the welcome pack, as were my children. A well managed place for sure. Also the location just a 12 minute walk down the hill to the beach was brilliant. We spent many times swimming, enjoying the beach and walking the South West Coast Path, we are now looking to come back again! Thank you!

Dorset

The cottage was well equipped, but tired. Something was living in the chimney and in the roof above one bedroom. Unable to get through to Sykes cottages and the local agent was slow to respond.
