Lovely base for a short stay in Lyme Regis.

The location was great- very central close to restaurants and coffee shops and the beach - perfect. Good size bathroom and shower.

Perfect place to stay in Lyme Regis

We stayed in the Priest Hole Apartment - a lovely space to stay. The decor and furniture is a high standard and the place was really clean. Everything is exactly as described and as in the photos. The location is really central and so easy to walk to everything in the town with lots of great restaurants nearby. Parking was also easy and only a few minutes walk away. Overall a great place to stay in Lyme Regis! Thank you!

Beautiful apartment in a great location

We loved our stay in the Earl of Feversham apartment on the first floor of beautiful Monmouth House. It is a charming apartment with a very comfortable bedroom (we slept like babies in the cosy bed!) and a lovely light and airy kitchen/living/dining room. There is a little terrace outside of the bedroom where you can enjoy a morning cuppa. The property is a short, easy walk to the centre of town. The communication with Leesa before and during our stay was excellent and there was a wealth of very useful information provided in advance. A lovely touch was a bottle of wine and biscuits and (delicious) granola upon arrival. Little extras one would need in the kitchen were provided which was helpful. Overall, a wonderful stay. We’ll be back!

Wonderfully located with everything you need for a lovely holiday

The location at the lower levels of Lyme mean access is easy for us older people with a short walk to sea front and of course, the shops. The house is full of character and tastefully decorated to reflect the history. Takeaways and restaurants within 100yrd include fish&chippy. Chinese takeaway a pub and restaurant by the brewery, which has a bar open till late.

We were pre warned so not a dislike really, Bedrooms were small but this is an old building. 4 of us late 60s/70s managed so not a problem but be aware edge of beds are within inches of walls!

Ambiance of the building and location, hosts were friendly, genial and accommodating. Everything was supplied to ensure our short break wascable to start immediately upon arrival.

Great apartment, one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! Perfect location.

Perfect location for us, close to everything we needed. The hosts were lovely! As I was travelling alone with my son, they sorted out a car parking space for me and let us check in early. I will be booking a return visit for next summer!

Right in the heart of the town so easy to walk everywhere. Dog friendly and well equipped. The welcome red wine and other bits and bobs (biscuits etc) a nice touch.

The apartment has no designated parking space outside so unloading/loading the luggage was a little tricky as the road outside was quite busy. Given the price, we didn’t appreciate being asked to strip the bed before leaving or put the rubbish out.

A fabulous place to stay

A beautiful historical property in the heart of Lyme Regis. Extremely well equipped- shops, restaurants and beach very close by. Great if you are staying with a dog as there is a dog friendly memorial garden across the road. We loved the apartment.

Beautiful stylish apartment in an ideal location only a few minutes walk to the old town beach cafes and restaurants. Fully equipped kitchen, good shower and comfortable bed.

Nothing to dislike. The only thing we noticed was that there is a knack in opening the main entrance door to the building. It initially took several attempts using the correct code to open it but we worked it out.

Central location and attractive decor of historic building in fascinating old town.

Location and decor. Nice bottle of wine and delicious comestibles to greet us - thank you! Bathroom fixtures (shower ) superb. Parking permit provided was very useful, although Monmouth Street was often blocked by more than one construction trucks/lorries at a time.

Just minor gripes: Small toiletry supplies, such as shampoo sachet, was not provided and it was hard to find a small quantity nearby. Too few dishwashing cubes. Apparently no instructions for stove. Control for dishwasher very hard to read. Top of round wooden table stained easily. Not quite enough chinaware, glasses or cutlery. Clear instructions for opening the front door would help - mention “clear” and “enter” buttons. Provide a French press coffee maker. Provide one additional dining chair. Remove some items from kitchen counter to provide a little more working space.

A well presented small apartment

Nicely decorated with some thoughtful touches. It is very central so particularly good for those arriving without a car. Apartment was small (though we were advised of that in advance) but well kept and very clean

No access until 4pm and then a check out time of '9-10am' felt a bit tight. Especially as we were also requested to remove all the linens from the bed. It was also a little to pay £10 to park in the car park as advised and then enter the property to find a permit for free parking in said car park on the table. There was no information given about this permit prior to arrival.

Excellent location. Well equipped. Lovely cosy place. Comfortable bed. Walkable to all places in Lyme Regis.

Difficult dropping off luggage and packing up due to the narrow streets and not being able to park outside the property. Parking a 10 minute walk up a steep hill however this didn’t take away from the loveliness of the property.

Modern well equipped apartment in a gorgeous old building. Cosy place to stay for a short dog friendly holiday in Dorset. Great location in the centre of Lyme Regis within walking distance of everything including restaurants. Parking permit supplied for public car park just up the hill always a bonus in a place like Lyme. Owners have thought it all through well.

Unloading can be challenging but that comes with the central location. Apartment door lock needs looking at as sometimes quite difficult to get in. Shower head quite blocked up.

A great place to stay in Lyme with access to everything you need for a fabulous stay.

The property is in the perfect location for the town the beach and all the amenities. The car parking permit is fabulous as parking is costly otherwise and we always found a space. The property is clean and tidy with a fully functional kitchen space and a comfortable space for relaxing. A great place for a stay in Lyme without any stress, Leesa also checked in with us to make sure all good.

Lovely property and very well situated

The house is very central. Good sized living area and lovely view into the garden square. The property was clean and well equipped and had everything we needed. Handy fish and chip shop round the corner and 2 minutes walk to the Cobb and the seafront.

One bedroom is very small, as stated in the description, was okay for children but adults may find it awkward to move around in it. The bigger bedroom was a good size but perhaps time for a new mattress as it had indents!

Lovely and comfortable apartment for 2-3 people in the centre of Lyme Regis

The apartment was on the ground floor of a beautiful old (but renovated) house in the centre of Lyme Regis. We followed very clear instructions as to where to go, unload and park. The parking permit was kindly provided, and so was the door code. At the arrival we found a lovely Welcome note, with a fine bottle of wine and local biscuits, some milk, coffee capsules and tea and water, all of which was much appreciated. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed (incl. dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, handwash and bathroom towels, colander, cheese grater, cafetiere…). The bathroom was great, modern and with a great new shower cubicle. The whole apartment was very beautifully furnished. Our 9-year old slept in the sitting room on the sofa bed, whilst we had our room with a double bed. The whole apartment was very clean and warm (whilst it was quite cold and windy outside). All in all, highly recommended. If we visit Lyme Regis again we’d certainly like to stay there again.

Fantastic apartments in central and convenient location.

Fantastic apartment that we'd highly recommend. We stayed in the Priest Hole apartment, on the ground floor. The place is well-appointed, clean and tastefully furnished. There's an oven, reasonably sized fridge, dishwasher, toaster (4 slice), kettle and butler sink... and pots and pans to self-cater if you wish. The location is just fantastic for walking into the centre of Lyme Regis; pubs and restaurants, just literally minutes walk away. Owners/staff very friendly, communicative and helpful.

Parking is about 4-5 minutes walk away up a hill.. Which is fine, this is a small seaside town with limited space.. but could be tricky for those less able/keen to walk to/from the car when you need it.. but easy enough to unload the car out front when you arrive/leave. A parking permit is provided, so it's free and you don't really need the car as you're so close to everything in the town! The bed in the bedroom is a decent size and very comfortable, but leaves limited access down the sides! Again fine.. but if you're less-mobile, could be tricky... We had no problems, but worth considering.

Very enjoyable and comfortable.

It was a beautifully decorated and comfortable flat - had everything you would need for a long weekend. Excellent location - very easy to get to seafront and lovely local shops, cafes and restaurants.

It didn’t have a washing machine, but if you are a small group for a few days then it’s not an issue really.

The apartment was in a perfect postition, clean, spacious, very well pointed with a welcome package

The location was perfect; close enough to town to walk, but far enough away to be not bothered by noise. It was on a quiet street and the car park was just a short walk away.

Everything was fine. Gary and Leesa were more than helpful when we had trouble with the heating settings.
