Welcome to Corinium, a 5-bed detached, large ‘sunhouse’ on the banks of Howells Mere. Elevated dining on the 1st floor balcony affords stunning views as the sun sets across the lake. Built on a larger scale to many properties of its type, the property’s design allows natural light to fill the huge atrium & bounce through the home. By making a reservation you are accepting the Lower Mill Estate`s Code of Conduct as per the Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and your guests.

STATED GROUP SIZE: Bookings are accepted on the group size & configuration stated at the time of booking. Any changes to this would require permission. Lower Mill Estate is a gated and warden controlled private estate and we provide the Estate with all guest group sizes and group dynamics prior to arrival, which are confirmed at the time of booking.

DAY VISITORS: Day visitors to the Property may be permitted with our prior consent, at our discretion, provided that the total group (including visitors) does not exceed the maximum occupancy of the Property.

SPA ACCESS: All but a 5 minute walk to the Luxury Spa complex, of which you get full rental access during your stay, allowing you and your family and friends to use the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Outdoor pools are closed during the low season.

NATURE FIRST: Lower Mill Estate is a nature first environment and we are all guests of nature. As such, things like certain lakes being closed in off season for nesting, low level lighting at night, reeds being left to grow to full height, is part of managing the unique environment and eco system.

PARKING: Each property on the Estate has one designated parking space within a few yards of their front door. All other vehicles can make use of the nearby additional communal visitor spaces and/or the overflow car parks. Please do try and limit the number of cars where possible.

HOT TUB: All of our hot tubs are maintained by a professional pool company, Messrs, MR Pools. Please do not use the hot tub after 10:30pm to retain the peaceful & respectful environment, in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

TRAVEL COT OPTION: We are unable to supply bedding or a mattress thicker than the ‘wrap around base’ that the travel cot comes with. For your reference, the approx. size of a standard travel cot is 60-65cm x 95-100cm.

BBQs: Due to insurance restrictions & potential health & safety compliance issues, we have removed BBQs from each property. Therefore, please remember to pack your own, or alternatively purchase a disposable BBQ for alfresco cooking.

LAKE SAFETY: All outside terrace areas are child proof and have over waist height glass balustrades all the way around, providing a safe environment for children.

PETS: we request that care is taken to prevent any additional damage caused from pets. For example, please wipe paws on entry to lodge. Please do not allow your dogs on any furniture/sofas and/or on beds.

We were able to contact the property manager with our queries. There was a problem with the heating and every effort was made to overcome the issue. Thank you for a special few days.

Excellent communication with agent. Lovely spacious property, right on the lake - magical setting, ideal for family groups. Plenty of activities, especially water sports,for teenage .children. Downside - extremely close to next door property.

We were a large party of 10 of mixed ages (plus a dog) and the lake house was perfect for our needs! There was loads of space for us all and the kitchen was brilliantly set up to cook meals and be sociable. The views across the lake were superb, the hot-tub was a lovely treat in the evenings after a day out exploring, and we made good use of the Spa/Pool and activity hub for bike hire. All in all a fantastic place to stay, and we hope to be back again next year!
