The space
This quirky house seems to extend on forever with interesting period architecture and nooks and crannies to explore. This helps it retain its country cottage feel while still providing 5 reception rooms where you can gather as a group or chill out in your own space.
-Living room 1 - comfy seating and a TV with a wood burner.
-Living room 2 - The snug. Twin armchairs and large tv. Perfect for the kids to hang out while the adults gather in the main room.
-Garden room with patio doors out to the back gardens. Perfect for morning coffee if the weather is a bit chilly.
-Large fully equipped traditional country kitchen complete with a table seating 10, leading to the Boot Room, perfect for your muddy things when you return from one of the country walks right on your doorstep and the utility room with washing machine, dryer and one of 2 downstairs toilets.
-Formal dining room with seating for 10 (additional table and chairs available for larger gatherings). If you are celebrating a special occasion there is also a second set of crockery.
First floor accommodation
Bedroom 1 - sleeps 2 with room for a cot or children's bed. Master suite with beautiful beams, kingsize bed, tv, wardrobe and dressing table and a stunning ensuite bathroom with free standing bath and large walk in shower.
Bedroom 2 - sleeps 2 adults + 1 child. Dual aspect bedroom with double bed, dressing table and storage.
Bedroom 3 - sleeps 1. Single room with fitted wardrobe.
Bedroom 4 - sleeps 2. Quirky bedroom with sloping ceiling on one side and original beam features, dressing table and storage.
Bedroom 5 - sleeps 3 + 1 child. Family room with kingsize bed and a single bed. Wardrobe, dressing table and TV.
An additional single fold out bed is available on request.
There is a large family bathroom with a bath and shower and a second bathroom with a walk in shower.
Outside you will find a large back garden with views over the surrounding countryside complete with an outdoor dining set, garden furniture and a BBQ.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of the entire house, back garden and surrounding garden areas. Please note, although the site as a whole is enclosed and secure, the large private back garden of Malt House is not enclosed and there is another property on site so please keep an eye on any pets and be respectful of other residents.
There is a shared driveway with parking for 8+ cars. Events are allowed (additional charges may apply) and the house has ample space and facilities to accommodate day guests.
Access and exclusive use of garden areas, BBQ, outdoor furniture and all outside areas around The Malt House.
Self check-in and check-out via lock box.
Other things to note
Property is most suited to a maximum of 10 adults. We have 2 additional folding beds which can be added at a small additional cost of £35 each per booking.
Up to 2 dogs welcome - additional charge of £50 per pet is applicable. No pets are allowed upstairs or on the furniture. Please note we do not provide dog beds or bowls.
A cot is available and one highchair on request. Please note we do not provide bedding for the cot.
Please note there is an uncovered pond in the back garden so please take care with young children and pets.

- Countryside pub down the road in North Cerney called The Bathurst Arms for food and local ales. (1.5 miles)
- Cirencester Park for picturesque walks (10 min drive)
- Cirencester Abbey Grounds for lake views and sightings of Roman history (5-10 mins)
- Cirencester Marketplace, for market stalls, shops, restaurants and other local establishments (8 mins drive)
- Bibury iconic Cotswold village famous for Arlington Row (Old Thatched Houses), the trout farm, The Swan Pub (15 mins drive)
- Short drive down the A435 to Cheltenham (51 Bus stops opposite The Malt House, and can stop near Cheltenham Racecourse) (20 mins drive)
- Bourton-On-The-Water for great pubs, lovely walks, near Hawkstone and The Farmers Dog, established by Jeremy Clarkson. (20 min Drive)
