An exceptional experience

The rooms and the place are new and clean.The location was ideal and exceptional. It's very close to various transportation options and Bonn Central Station, allowing for easy travel within the city and between cities across the country. If I have the opportunity to return to Bonn, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Home & Co as my place of residence.

I have one comment I hope you will consider: there is a designated garbage area on the ground floor next to the rooms that emits a foul odor. Please find a solution for this.

An Inch Further From Perfect

Overall, this is an excellent hotel, clean, comfortable and quiet, in an ideal location near the Bahnhof, the city center and the elegant Südstadt neighborhood. But in staying here twice I have discovered there is a lot of variation between the rooms. I stayed in two rooms one week apart. Both rooms were described as studios with identical square footage, but one was much larger than the other, so much larger that the bathroom had room for a bidet. Last week I stayed in the spacious room 127. It has, in addition to the bidet, blackout shades and a view of the back garden. This week I stayed in room 130. It has no blackout shades and a view of the garbage dumpsters. Room 130 did have a kitchen towel, thank goodness, which room 127 did not. But room 127 has drinking glasses and wine glasses, while room 130 does not. For room 130, the Garden View Suite, I paid 102€ per night For room 127, the Garbage View Junior Suite, I paid 124€ per night. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I gave my experience in 127 a 9, my experience in 130 an 8. I do think the hotel overall merits an 8.5, but with a little more attention to detail, it could easily be a 10.

Neither room had a kitchen sponge, salt, pepper, olive oil or paper towels. These are things that it makes no sense for a traveler to carry nor to buy. But they are kitchen essentials and it likewise makes no sense to pay extra for an apartment with a kitchen that lacks these essentials. Time to inventory and restock the rooms maybe.

Ridiculously hot and noisy!

The room was nicely laid out for one person and the bed was comfortable

The whole hotel was set at 24oC, day and night. I turned the heat off in my room but the walls radiated heat and it was much too hot for comfortable sleeping. The windows open, but there is a very noisy railway line in the back (and a busy street in the front) so this wasn’t a solution. Staff gave the excuse that some guests like it this hot, but surely they could then heat their own rooms rather than forcing everyone else to bake? Also, I stayed by myself but the room was a double - it would be very cramped for 2 people.

Great location and outstanding gym facilities made for a very enjoyable stay overall.

Location is perfect – very close to the station and town centre. I absolutely LOVED the gym. The first time I have ever encountered such a well-equipped and functional exercise training facility in a hotel or other accommodation. And the equipment is in top condition! Some of the staff were incredibly friendly, available and helpful.

A few of the staff seemed a little disinterested and unserious at times.

Convenient and modern

The apartment is close to the Bonn train station. It is over the road from a Deutsche Bank branch. Trouble is we didn't notice this when we arrived. Spent awhile looking for an ATM to withdraw cash. Bonn has a lot of Cash Only eateries. After being ripped off at a private ATM, on returning to our apartment from a different direction, we saw the bank with plenty of ATMs. So, location excellent once you know. Rooms were great with a kitchenette and excellent bathroom. There were common areas you could sit in on the ground floor and also a garden area to the rear. So quite pleasant.

This apartment building is actually longer term student accommodation where they have two floors for tourists. Everything was very neat and looked very modern. But this meant limited front desk attendance. There were instructions for when the desk was unattended, but someone was there when we checked in. The only main drawback for those of us in our later years, is that the queen size bed is pushed up against a wall and there is a wall at the foot of the bed and a divider between the head of the bed and the kitchenette. The person on the inside has to climb over the other person to get to the bathroom. We managed but would prefer a bed with access each side. This did make the apartment more spacious though.

Great for solo business trip

I had a fantastic stay. The room was very comfortable, the bed was good for one guest (maybe two would have been a little tight), the kitchen was well equipped with coffee capsules for my whole stay, and the bathroom was big and comfortable. The on demand cleaning service worked every time I requested it. The location was perfect for my business trip. I would happily stay here again.

Great location, safe feel, stylish property

The shred garden, the electric blinds, the space in the room, the reception staff, the location.

Seems critical but I would feedback 2 things. 1/ the room/shared facilities would benefit from some ability to make some form of food, maybe dual hobs like many other places. 2/ whilst the premise prides itself on a community living approach, it felt stale/fake to us. Albeit I suspect the people that stay there are more likely to be business types not tourists like us.

A disastrous stay that spoiled my vacation.

Reasonably close to the train station .The room was spacious and the large bed was comfortable.

There was no receptionist to arrange check-in. The information I had stated staff were available until 8.00 pm, but this was totally false. I arrived just after 6.00 pm with no one to give me a key or know where my room was. Only with the help of another tenant was I able to get into my room after a lot of stress and aggravation. Unless you are tech savvy and have a working phone do NOT even attempt to use this property as you will be locked out of your accommodation. The bath towel was very small and well worn.

Noch zentraler kann man in Bonn gar nicht wohnen. Trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig gewesen. Für ein Kurztrip genial. Die Dusche ist klasse und der beheizbare Handtuchtrockner ebenso.

Das mit der späten Ankunft können Sie noch üben. Keine Mail mit Zimmernummer, falscher Schlüsselcode und dann ging trotzdem lange nichts. Das hat bei uns gar nicht geklappt. Da man aber rund um die Uhr anrufen kann, konnte das Problem nach einer gewissen Zeit gelöst werden. Alle waren sehr freundlich ! Der Fußboden ist extrem kalt. Eine Küchenzeile ohne auch nur eine Gabel, Messer, Löffel, Schneidebrettchen, Schälchen, aber mit einem gigantisch großen Besteckkasten habe ich noch nie gesehen. Zum Glück hatte ich ,wie immer, alles dabei,damit wir wenigstens ein Müsli machen können.

Appart Hôtel très bien situé près de la gare où un centre commercial permet de faire les courses du quotidien y compris le dimanche et en bordure du centre historique dont tous les sites sont accessibles à pied en 15 minutes. équipements très corrects pour un court séjour . super propre et bien insonorisé. attention par contre : la réception n'est ouverte qu'en journée et pas le dimanche

Petites améliorations: lit en 140 coincé contre un mur (un peu comme une couchette de bateau ) pas très agréable sil on est à 2. chambre prévue pour 2 mais un seul fauteuil. j'aurais aussi aimé un éclairage type plafonnier ou lampadaire pour avoir un peu lus de lumière . Gros problème (mais a priori "accidentel") : à notre arrivée nous constatons que l'eau chaude ne fonctionne pas. Le jeune homme à la réception me dit que quelqu'un va venir sans me préciser que le problème touche tout le batiment...ceci n'a pas été téglé de tout le séjour ( samedi et dimanche donc on peut comprendre) sans aucune explication ni communication sur place ou par mail ; sans proposition commerciale de dédommagement et sans que à notre départ lundi matin les gens présents au bureau ne lèvent la tête de leur ordinateur pour nous parler

Die Fotos auf der Seite des Hotels und auch hier täuschen. Es handelt sich um Zimmer auf Jugendherbergs Niveau mit spärlicher Einrichtung. Ist eher ein Wohnen auf Zeit, dass dann zum Hotel umfunktioniert wird.

Sehr praktisches Hotel in zentraler Lage in Bonn. HBF quasi nebenan.

Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber und ok, Bett sehr bequem. Die Lage super, direkt am HBF.

Das Zimmer war etwas zu kühl, man sagte mir, es sei länger nicht bewohnt gewesen und entsprechend ausgekühlt. Die Heizkörper am Ende des Ganges würden auch ein bisschen brauchen. Man hat mir aber einen Heizstrahler angeboten.

Sehr schönes geräumiges Zimmer im UG mit direktem Blick in den Garten. Man kann sich jederzeit Kaffee zubereiten. Es gab einen Schminkspiegel im Bad
