Maison Dorèe

Elio my contact was super. He was able to communicate in English. The wifi however sucked. It was unstable and would cut out. If staying here for work make sure that it is fixed. The other issue is that if you come in early, there is no where to drop a bag so I sat in the nearby park for 3 hours until I could check in. The apartment itself is spacious, lots of windows and was quiet when I went to bed. Laundry was great. Thanks Elio.

The apartment is quite grand, high ceilings, painted ceilings, large common areas, modern kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large balcony. First time in Ortigia and would recommend Ortigia and the apartment to anyone. The apartment is close to La Pizza Duomo. It’s a great location. The check-in process was easy. Would come back to Ortigia and to this apartment!

The apartment is beautifully decorated. Instagramable, for sure. The location is quiet yet central to the main sights. Comfortable beds with nice linens and towels. Plenty of hot water. Lots of space and beautiful light. The kitchen is well stocked. The balcony is delightful. One bedroom is on an upper level. The master shower had three heads only one of which was usable but it worked well. The weather was cold and the heating/cooling systems functioned well keeping us cozy. The apartment is not directly on the waterfront but you can see a spot of ocean from one of the windows in the master bedroom. All in all, this is as good as it gets.

The place was stunning and perfectly situated to explore the island. Wish we were there longer.
