it had everything we needed, so close to the town and to shops

The studio itself was lovely, extremely clean, well decorated, comparatively spacious and featured everything one would need for a short trip (basic kitchenware, fruit, water, milk, tea, coffee and towels included). The location, though not inside the old town, meaning it was nice and quiet, was only a short walk from everything and had several stores and a market within a 5-minute walk. The area also seemed extremely safe at night, with some local parents even taking their young children for a late-night walk to the nearby park and women walking home alone from the town centre.
Turning up unexpectedly later in the evening and having to access the apartment was a little daunting, though it was extremely simple to access the keys following the instructions; all corridor/outdoor lights are timed/motion-sensored, which is awkward when having to unlock 3 unfamiliar doors to access the studio(though this also means you're very safe).
Perhaps if I had noted my arrival to be later, I would have been forewarned by the owner, who seems very helpful, but it would be nice to note this alongside the access requirements for any other solo traveller arriving late at night.

Well equipped modern studio with pleasant balcony/terrace room. Very clean inside the suite. Good TV and free Netflix.

Entrance of the building had a very strong unpleasant egg/ sulphuric smell, very off putting every time we returned. For the amount of money paid, carrying own bins to a very messy garbage area was not a luxury feel and this was not requested in our previous Airbnb stays. €120 euro is quite expensive. Lots of loud cars going past at night, not the quietest of areas despite previous reviews.

Fijn appartement op een top locatie. Binnen 3 minuten sta je in het centrum. De kamer was netjes en schoon, en we hebben heerlijk geslapen. Zeker een aanrader!
Bij aankomst denk je even: ‘waar ben ik beland?’ Het trappenhuis van het appartementencomplex is wat smoezelig, maar gelukkig staat dit in groot contrast met de kamer. Die was schoon, netjes en comfortabel 👍
