Great location for Bath centre.

Very friendly and welcoming host who allowed us to park our car up free before check in which we really appreciated. Great location with a 35 min walk along the canal into Bath centre. Lidl just a 5 min walk away. Comfy sofa in the lounge. Clean, tidy and nicely presented. The host kindly offered us a later checkout.

Unfortunately, we didn't sleep well the 1st night due to train and goods train nearby. (We are light sleepers) so had to buy ear plugs the next day. Although the mattress was very comfortable in the main bedroom, the frame was rather creaky every time you rolled over which the host may not be aware.of.

Wonderful base for our visit to Bath

This property is a hidden gem the pictures do not do it justice. Sheila gave us a warm welcome and introduction to the property and was extremely helpful about the local area. There are lots of shops nearby which was very useful and Bath only a short drive away.

Comfy and stylish base to explore Bath.

Really appreciated the dog toys so that I could keep my dog cool and happy indoors while my husband took our boys on the open top bus tour and to the Roman Baths. Innox park good for exercising your dog. Host very welcoming and helpful.

The converted barn is perfect for a weekend in Bath. Great location close to good food shops.

We were met by the owner who very kindly showed us round and offered us a late check out. Every detail was met to make sure we had what we needed. This very personal service made us feel we were with friends rather than just getting accommodation in Bath. We enjoyed exploring the walk down the river into the city and the number 5 bus journey back was very straightforward too. All in all, this attractive property gave us a delightful weekend break. Five stars!

A quality home from home place to stay is Bath.

This is a barn in name only. It's a high spec comfortable and well laid out home from home. We were 4 adults and it suited us perfectly. Kitchen had everything you need, from American fridge /freezer, double oven & microwave. Plenty of ware, cutlery etc. You could sit around a log fire or get the No.5 bus into city centre. Bus Stop is a 3 minute walk. The area is quite and safe

Relaxing

Spacious. Car parking availability. Two groceries stores and a bakery very nearby. With washing machine. Peaceful area. Dog friendly (drinking bowl, blankets even some toys available). Sheila is an excellent hostess. She and her little one greeted us and took the time to explain everything which felt very welcoming. She also gave us some great tips where to take our dog for walks and such. Thanks Sheila!

No outside doorhandle on frontdoor as far as we could find. The 30 minute walk into city center is next to a canal and it is on a not very inspiring path with bikes and other slow traffic. Not ideal with a dog but maybe it was our timing. We had fabulous weather so enjoyed it anyway.

Great stay in a lovely small modern & clean townhouse.

Lovely modern decor, really clean and simply decorated with a welcoming feel. Lovely little bakery over the road. Welcoming owner. Parking space much appreciated.

Nothing to dislike as all great. In the not so posh part of Bath but within easy reach of centre 10min drive or 30-40 min walk away. Little things- Back door lock very stiff and could do with some egg cups.

Glorious stay at Twerton Close Converted Barn!

The Barn is beautifully converted and deceptively large. Having a parking space was an enormous plus for us! The little areas very close by for the dog's convenience first and last thing were handy and he was welcomed with blankets, bowls etc. We loved all of the decor and furnishings and being toasty warm inside as it was freezing outside. The beds were comfy and we all slept soundly and incredibly well. We felt very safe at the property and it was so nice being met by Sheila.

Always wanted to stay in a converted barn & this didn’t disappoint. Walking distance to both grocer, bus stop onto Bath city . Our host Sheila was so accommodating with local knowledge & how to info…thanks Sheila, a great stay.

Only suggestions would be , A hair dryer would be great. Refresh the bath towels (very rough) More than 1 tea towel would help

Beautiful house a short walk from the centre of Bath

Great location, about a 30 minute walk from the centre of Bath. Beautiful house and a car parking space to avoid having to pay expensive car parking fees. We stayed two nights and left the car where it was until we left as everything was a walkable distance away. Yes you are near the railway and you can hear it but it in no way effects your stay. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return again when visiting our son at Uni. Thanks Sheila- fantastic host.

Home away from home

Sheila was a very accommodating and super responsive host. The house itself really felt like a home away from home- it had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend away together and was beautifully decorated. It was perfectly situated just outside the centre of Bath; very easy to travel in but also far enough if you want a quiet break from it all. The amenities were all great too- nice powerful shower and it was very handy having a fully functioning kitchen too. I would highly recommend this as a great base for exploring Bath, but it was also just a joy to stay in and catch up/relax in the evenings.

Nice Deco, 30 min walk to bath city centre

The deco and host are super nice!! Fridge has store some cold water and milk!! It is so heartwarming! The kitchen appliances are new. Double oven, double door fridge, dishwasher. Make our life so much easier!

There is a train rail next to the house. Have to close all the window otherwise it is too loud that i could not get to sleep.

Perfect location just outside centre of Bath

We loved the cottage. Very clean and all newly renovated and very v. quiet. A perfect location for us (family of 4 including 2 adult sons), as a 30 min lovely walk along the river and into the city. Shelia was very flexible when we got held up in traffic and met us later at the property. One earlier reviewer mentioned proximity to the train track but not a problem at al. We had a lovely time in Bath and Bristol, esp. the rooftop Thermae baths and recommend No1 The Royal Crescent.

Really enjoyed our stay with friends at this property. Great facilities, well stocked with essentials and a great selection of board games! 30min stroll into Bath centre and 5min from Lidl.

The home alike apartment is convenient, comfortable, clean and like new.

The host Sheila is friendly and accommodating, she met us on our arrival though a bit later than the stated time. The property is not right next to Bath city centre but if you're driving then it's not a problem, there is dedicated parking slot so don't need to worry about looking for one in usual residential area, yet it's accessible by bus. The property is well furnished and equipped, decorated with style. It's like brand new as you get what you see from the photos.

We needed a nice place to just relax and hangout… this was it!

Love the location, just outside of the main part of town. It is right in the train tracks which was generally fine, but not always quiet. We loved meeting Sheila - she was a great host and made us feel very welcome. The house was super nice - loved the upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs was lovely for relaxing and cooking meals. We’d definitely stay here again.

We love to cook and could have used a couple more bowls… but otherwise it was amazing

Casa espectacular

Magnífica y encantadora casa con chimenea, 2 dormitorios amplios y porche. Muy agradable y con todas las comodidades. La anfitriona estuvo siempre muy atenta a que estuviéramos a gusto, en nuestra estancia, y a pesar de que llegamos de noche muy tarde a la casa, no hubo ningún problema. Además, este alojamiento es muy cómodo, si llevas un coche alquilado, porque la propiedad tiene parking gratis, está muy cerca de supermercados y a 30 minutos andando del centro y a 1 minuto andando de una parada de autobuses que van hacia el centro. Sinceramente, la experiencia fue muy buena y recomendable. Espero repetir.
