This is a stunning property. So many original features, as well as modern equipment like radios and light switches etc designed to look like they came straight out of the past. The attention to detail is on point. Beautiful furnishings and accessories. Good quality toiletries and a hairdryer and straighteners are provided. Fancy door code to get in, but easy to work out. Milk and water in the fridge and some teabags and biscuits supplied. It was very hot when we were there so we were happy to find fans in the upstairs bedrooms. A short walk into the centre of town.

These are not complaints, more just information that may be useful to other travellers :-) It is a surprisingly busy road outside so it can be noisy with the windows open. I expect this would be the same with most other properties in the area. You have original windows so not double glazed. It didn't really affect our enjoyment or sleep. There are radios beside the beds and I kept mine on when I slept with the window open, You can always bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. There is no microwave. Again this didn't bother us but some people might expect one. The stairs! The stairs are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or young children. Again, this is an old property and the stairs are in keeping and original. You have to go downstairs to the kitchen from the main hall and then there are two upper levels with a bedroom on each. There is not a solid bannister, but a rope for support. If you are not steady on your feet this is not for you!

Super noisy. Right next to road and cars
