Super value for money

The house is impeccably clean and freshly decorated. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. The local area is quiet and has an abundance of shops, eateries, etc, literally 2 minutes down the road. It was great to be able to park up the car (visitors permit arranged by owner) and use the buses into town. Much cheaper and less stressful. The coffee, tea, sugar, milk and baked goods were very welcoming, as were the toiletries.

My son found his pillows too firm, but I guess that's a personal preference. The kitchen is well equipped but could do with a microwave and plug for the sink.

Great location, homely stay with yummy treats!

Lovely stay at Maybrick House. House has a very cosy feel to it and the hosts obviously put a lot of thought and care into your stay. They left us a lovely welcome box with delicious treats from their home bakery. The area itself is great. Lots of little shops (And fab charity shops) on the main street at the bottom of the hill. We parked at the house (Streeet parking - which doesn't cost much and Julie & Terry can order you a pass which is very helpful!) and we used the bus stop to get into Bath. The buses are very regular and only takes about 10 mins or so to get into Bath. All in all, a great base for exploring!

The property was exactly as pictured, it was clean, it was warm (which we were grateful for as we visited in December) the beds were comfortable and it was located very close to a bus stop that made traveling to and from the city centre very easy. It was also great to have a little garden for our dog to go out.

The property was honestly great. If I had to nitpick I would say the only downside was that there were only 2 pillows on the bed so 1 pillow per person. But that really is nitpicking!

Everything- Clean, local, beautifully decorated, kitchen has all the basics to cook a meal etc. Towels toiletries in the bathroom. Was a great few days away.

Great for a family get together!

The property was clean and tidy, nicely decorated and well kept. All the comforts you would expect were there. We particularly enjoyed the board games.

A minor thing, but we could only find a wok and no frying pan. However, it turns out you can make pancakes in a wok, so no problem in the end!

Wonderful stay at Maybrick House

Julie the host was welcoming and easy to contact. The house was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Beds very comfortable. It was a very short walk from shops and bus stops into Bath centre. The garden was enclosed so safe for children and dogs. Parking was by permit which Julie arranges for you. Everything about the property was perfect and I would definitely stay again.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm house in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of the centre. A very nice place to stay.

Great option for a short, quiet stay in a beautiful city, access made easy by great hosts.

The communication and instruction from the hosts was brilliant, well timed, well thought out instructions, very prompt in answering of questions and helping with minor issues (which were of our making not theirs or the property). The property is very much as listed, really clean, well appointed and perfect for 2 or 4 people. It is a reasonable walk from town - busses are available and while parking did have a small cost, there was plenty available on the day and easily arranged.

Excellent, cosy home at great price

Very cosy and comfortable home, well equipped, good size rooms, nice garden area. WiFi available. About 1 mile from Bath centre. Walking distance to pub restaurants. Not too difficult to find parking spots. Excellent host who provided some very nice touches...a welcome pack, some milk in the fridge, covering parking for morning of checkout. Very reasonable price.
