The owners were extremely attentive to my every need They fetched me at the train station & also returned me there when ai needed to travel again. Truly caring couple. I will definitely return there again. The boat dock was just 2 mins walk. A beautiful beach & grassy view area was also just there. Super location. I was able to do my laundry w’ the washing machine in my flat as well as cook fish & veggies in the well equipped kitchen.

All was so comfy. I am a person who always lives with open windows & curtains. This particular room was ground level Located on the Main Street so it didn’t have a lot of privacy when you opened the curtains to see the beautiful Mountain View as people were walking by & noisy cars & motos also. But anyway it was a great location otherwise. The 2nd floor would be better if you like to live like I do. My fault for booking the last room just 1 hour before arrival. I truly enjoyed everything there!!

Ok for a short stay.

The proximity to the ferry and lake were great. 2 minutes and your at both. 3 minutes your at the supermarket. Breakfast each morning was great. Had air conditioning, stove, fridge and washing machine. The kitchen was well stocked. We had parking but it was not secure parking. Owners very nice. Communication was good.

The wifi was terrible. You will need your own. Kept going off and saying you could not join. Very frustrating. The power kept going off if two appliances were on at once. The road was very busy and the train came by about every 15 minutes. You could not leave the door to the balcony open or the window just too noisy so no fresh air. The greatest noise came up the stairwell and there is only a gate no hard door.

Beautiful location, wonderful host!

The sweetest Italian couple run the place and were very helpful and responsive. It was perhaps the cleanest place I've ever stayed! Parking on site and it was easy to find. Very well equipped little apartment with a wonderful shower.

I didn't read the details enough to understand that while it was lake view and had balconies, I was only booking a ground floor apartment. That was a huge disappointment. I book places regularly and this seemed less clear than other places. Also, check-out was from 10-11 which I understood to mean I could wait until 11 but the host wanted us to leave earlier because they needed to turn it over for a new guest. That was also challenging with a baby along and nap time etc. It also doesn't have the option for fresh air in the bedroom because the window only opens to a front hall, not to outside.

Good

Balcony view is worth the money. There is just 3mins of walk to reach the lake. Host is very hospitable and doing their best to understand you despite rather poor spoken English. There is a bar just downstairs so going for a beer or drink is pretty comfortable.

Bear in mind that street in front of the build is pretty busy during whole day. It's worth to mention that there are railroad tracks just behind the building so from time to time you might hear the train passing by. Windows in our room where not as soundproof as we expected.

The view of the lake was amazing and only a block away. The hosts were very friendly and left something for breakfast every day which was unexpected.

We had a hard time connecting to the WiFi. They need a booster in the suite.

Exceptional

The breakfast was amazing with good gluten free options. The accommodation was clean and tidy with an amazing view of the lake and was directly on the beach. We had everything we needed and the hosts were lovely and accommodating and so helpful. Many transport options available and a great small shop just down the road. The hosts even offered to drive us to the train station before our flight which was a great help. Amazing value for money in a beautiful location! Highly recommend.

Very friendly reception and nice breakfast. The location is great to start excursions. You can get everywhere quickly and cheaply, either by train or by boat. We had a great time and would come back again.

The railway tracks behind the house did not bother us, but could be disturbing for others.

Exceptional

The people who run the Veroalex are extremely nice and friendly. they always have an open ear and you can ask anything. A visit to Varenna is highly recommended.Furthermore, the Veroalex is very centrally located. Short distances to the beach, you can get to other places like Lecco or Varenna very quickly. all in all a very nice vacation ... we'd love to come back.

Exellent relaxing stay.

The property exceeded my expectations indeed. It was super clean with all the facilities needed for a relaxed stay. The beach (lake side) is just 100mts away from the location. The hosts are very friendly. Not to miss a treking trip to Cascata Cenghen which is a 2km drive and a 2 km walk in the woods. I suggest this place to those who like to stay disconnected from the chaos of the city life for a while.

Very few restaurants in the vicinity. Don't have much choice.
