Could never tire of the view. Spotless Breakfast amazing.

Absolutely EVERYTHING. What a fabulous place to stay. Immaculate, comfortable and scrupulously clean with the most beautiful view you could ever hope to find. Such attention to detail - super fluffy towels, gorgeous bedding and even a generous measure of gin and whisky to welcome us to beautiful Leverburgh. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of choice and all served in the dining room with a view across to the mountains. Paradise on earth - please don't hesitate to book, you won't regret it! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality Carolanne.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS - ARRIVAL: We arrived on a blustery stormy day and had been invited to come early to get somewhere restful. My Mum needed to lie down immediately and Carolanne showed us to my room. She made us all teas and coffees with lovely biscuits and made us feel warm and cosy, inside and out. She even went and made my Mum a hot waterbottle and brought it to her in bed. What a lovely, thoughtful thing to do. Carolanne treated MY mum like she was HER Mum - and my parents weren't even staying overnight as they had other accommodation we had to take them on to, later that wasn't ready yet. How lovely is that! What a beautiful person; really understanding and full of empathy and concern for any and all guests to her house- even those just dropping by and not staying overnight. HOMELY, SPACIOUS, RELAXED: Amazing, light, spotless space with massive soft sofas to sink into - an enormous guest lounge for making a home from home in a beautiful location with exceptional views over Leverburgh's freshwater loch. I sprawled out on the sofa as soon as I arrived as I felt so at ease, and was up with the larks for a writing workshop on zoom at 7am on my first morning with flawless wifi connection. Carolanne even asked if I'd like a hot drink before she started prepping breakfast. THE ROOM: The beds were to die for, shower's water pressure was fabulous with endless hot water, beautiful Essence of Harris toiletries, soft fluffy towels, even fluffy robes provided, and a complimentary gin and whisky for our arrival in our room. THE PERFECT HOST - CAROLANNE: The absolute highlight of the entire experience though was our host - Carolanne. She was AMAZING. From the first communication where she invited us to check in early because of stormy weather, to fun and sparky chat, and forging a genuine friendship, what an inspirational lady. We are so very delighted that we came to Grimisdale and that we had so much fun.

Having to leave! Quite simply: stay here, you won't regret it.

It was so comfortable and quiet and the location was excellent.
