Very good stay, right in front of the beach.
Great location. Quiet. Lovely house. Comfortable. Space ideal for a single traveller or two. Heating and hot water work perfectly. We did not use the kitchen so I cannot comment about that. The house is right in front of the beach but there is no sea view. But you can enjoy the sea by just standing outside in good weather. We made tea and used the wall outside as a coffee table, morning tea with a sea view :) Easy key transfer. We were able to find parking right in front of the house during a festival weekend.
The bed is small for two. Also a bit soft if you prefer hard mattresses // There is a Bosch coffee machine in the kitchen but no coffee capsules. It would have been good to have 2-3 capsules in the kitchen // The instructions you receive beforehand are very long, therefore, obviously, we missed which door was ours once we entered. It was confusing. A piece of paper on the door with door number would have been lot easier. // You are asked to strip the linens before check out.

I love Anstruther/Cellardyke. I'm a regular visitor.
The location was excellent although I hadn't realised the wall would block my view of the sea. I thought it might have been on a higher floor.
Please inform future occupants that there are two key safes. I arrived in the dark and I'm not very tall so when I saw the safe at my height, I was alarmed that the code did not work. After ringing Pittenweem properties I saw the correct safe on the opposite side of the doorway, very high up.

Perfect - would definitely return 😃
The property was immaculate, compact and cosy - perfect for a winter weekend break. It was a great example of being very clever with a small space and had everything we could have possibly needed in terms of facilities. The only thing we struggled with was getting the wood burner to work, followed the instructions but were able to generate smoke but not much else. The alternative heating was excellent though - we were lighting it more for ambience than warmth
