Had a great holiday with family. Cottage was very clean and had everything you could need. It is in a great location close to everything. Would definitely back in future and have no qualms recommending to friends n family

Lovely stay in the cottage. Comfortable for 4 adults with everything needed for a cracking weekend. Amazing sea view from the attic bedroom and short walk to local shops, restaraunts, bars and harbour. Communication from Ann was excellent and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break in Fife.

We spent a most enjoyable week here. Anchor Cottage is situated in a quiet courtyard only minutes from the harbour, eateries, coastal path, etc. This lovely cottage was very clean and comfortable with lots of extras. We hope to return very soon and would highly recommend. B and T

Anchor Cottage met and even surpassed all our expectations, largely contributing to make our holiday in Fife a memorable experience. First of all its location: a few minutes walk from the coastal path, the bus stop to S. Andrews and Edinburgh, but also from the harbour, the main shops, the Coop and yet secluded with its inner courtyard, we didn't hear any noises from the street or from the other cottages. The house itself was furnished with literally everything one might need, even for quite a long stay like ours (three weeks). The kitchen enabled us to cook just like at home, with its variety of pots and pans and oven trays. We found abundance of tea, coffee, sugar, salt oil and vinegar, laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper: really, we couldn't ask for more! The bedrooms were also really confy, with abundance of bedding and towels and that fantastic sea view! The only thing that lightly set us down was not having the chance of meeting Ann, the owner. We got into the house through the secure lock system, we had no problem at all with that, but we thought that given the long stay we would have met Mrs Hair sooner or later. we would gladly have exchanged a few words with her, even only to compliment her for her lovely place. Luckily no problem arose while we were there so she had no reason to come by, but still... The only useful suggestion that we would make is to sort out differently the disposal of garbage, as more than once we had a bit of difficulty in placing our trash in the appointed bin as it was already full with someone elses's bin bags. perhaps a lock could do the trick. Other than that, we really can't fault the property in any way, so much so that we hope we'll be able to come back.

The cottage was perfect for our week in Fife. Clean, well equipped and very tastefully decorated. My only quip would be to stress that it is on three levels and that the stairs are rather on the steep side, that being said, great cottage.

We stayed at the cottage for three nights in March. Everything was spotlessly clean and the cottage was warm and very comfortable. Would throughly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting the Anstruther area.

Very impressive visit. Our "Golf Trip" was perfect using the Anchor Cottage as a home base. Anstruther is "Wonderful"!! The Residents were quick to adopt Us, and were more friendly then some Family! Don't hesitate to visit, You will enjoy this ......Al Chrouser Jr PGA

Lovely cottage very cosy and comfortable, it has everything you look for only thing you need to take is food. Very close to the town but very little to no noise 2 mins from the sea front absolutely worth every penny would highly recommend Anchor cottage

House is fabulous, everything we could have needed - complete home from home, no need to bring anything, except food! Clean, comfortable area is wonderful and if wet weather house is cosy with games to play and TV's in every room, best holiday hire we have ever stayed in!

We had a wonderful holiday in this cosy cottage. You find everything you need and Ann does everything to let feel you at home. If you have questions or need something, she always answers at once. A perfect place to stay and explore Fife. We would like to come back. Thank you Ann for everything!
