Pre Christmas Break by the sea

The location and facilities that Dreel Cottage provide are fantastic. The furnishings, decor and attention to detail were exceptional and everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Cleaning was to a very high standard and it was entirely enjoyable break away.

minor irritations in what was otherwise an excellent cottage.

Most things were excellent and we had a most enjoyable stay.

Kitchen equipment (limited for cooking. No scales, measuring equipment, lights under units not working) Parking is off road but still public with a footpath squeezing space beside the car. Very steep stairs which should have non slip surfaces rather than carpet. No focus fire in living room.

Delightful Large Cottage

Absolutely delightful Grade 2 listed cottage which way in past was two cottages joined together so all rooms very large. Every possible amenity you can imagine there, a large private enclosed back yard, great position. Owners super helpful. A certificate in the lounge showing classification 9.8 out of 10 for 2025, we would not argue with that. Thanks for a lovely stay. Eric and family

Lovely ,quaint cottage. Well equipped with everything you need in a holiday cottage & more. Lovely garden & little summerhouse which is great for sitting in to enjoy the evening sun . Great location , couple of minutes walk to the harbour / centre.

Loved this cosy cottage it was absolutely perfect for our long weekend

Location is on a very busy street but the internal double glazing really helped to keep out the noise, I was really impressed. The house was beautifully decorated and felt like a home rather than a rental which was lovely. It was great to have a wee garden to sit out in.

Parking was tricky but impossible to change.

Adorable cottage in Anstruther

I don't know where to start. I loved my time at Dreel Cottage. The Cottage had everything you could possibly need in a home from home and more. It's a magical place to spend a holiday. The river just outside the back gate was beautiful. The location was spot on for town. Lots of stunning fishing villages to visit in the area, and of course, St Andrews. Pam and Ian were fantastic hosts. We loved it so much that I felt emotional having to leave.

Excellent cottage in a great location.

Great location for exploring the surrounding area. The cottage was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The garden was lovely, though our weather wasn’t the best so we couldn’t make full use of it sadly.
