Perfect location for exploring the area

We have stayed in Anstruther many times and we know the area well so we were pleased to find a property so close to the harbour, with our favourite spots just minutes away. The beds were comfortable and the flat was really well equipped with nice touches. Daryl was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

We found the furniture in the living space uncomfortable. We were out most of the day but we found it hard to relax in the evening in this space. We understand the furniture was selected to not overcrowd the compact space, but unfortunately it didn’t work for us.

Cosy Apartment in Anstruther

Comfortable and well-equipped. Good location in Anstruther for sea front and coastal walks. Other villages in the East Neuk of Fife and St Andrews are within easy reach of Anstruther.

Crucial information was missing! Information about heating controls didn't mention the thermostat control in the hall, which needed to be set to achieve a comfortable temperature. It was only set to 16C when we arrived .... it was freezing outside! Although the WiFi password was given, the network wasn't. So, we had to spend time trying the available networks before finding the correct one.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay

Location excellent, parking directly outside house. Flat was nice warm and comfortable spacious with a dining kitchen which is bigger than the picture shown. Walk in shower also excellent.

A lovely weekend at Sea Breeze

A beautiful cottage in a perfect location. This was a holiday break for elderly family members and the location was perfect for access to shops and harbour area. Cottage had everything we would expect and furnished to a very high standard. We had a fantastic holiday!

Loved how clean it was and all the lovely decor. The dog bowls and treats were a nice touch as was the coffee and biscuits. Great location. Nice towels

Would have been nice to have somewhere to put clothes in the twin bedroom ie a chest of drawers or shelves in the wardrobes. Duvets and pillows were not comfy.

Beautiful location and Apartment didn’t want to leave.

Amazing Apartment exceptionally clean with a beautiful clean smell in every room. Bathroom with shower was fantastic. Beds super comfortable with beautiful linen. The host has thought of everything to make your holiday perfect from arrival to departure. And the location was perfect.

We had a lovely few days staying at Sea breeze and would definitely recommend the property.

It was close to amenities and the property itself was excellent.

Because of height of Summer parking was difficult especially with a cleaning agency next door with work vans & cars constantly going back & forward. Although very close to Harbour i missed a direct sea view which we have enjoyed at previous accommodation in Anstruther & Cellerdyke.

Lovely - I would come back.

Great location. So well equipped, clean and very 'sea side' welcoming. Lovely comfortable beds and really nice seating area/sitting room. The kitchen was so well equipped and everything was so obvious e.g. how to access the wife and use the heating system (simplest I have come across). The house is set back which is lovely and within easy walking distance of the front - parade of shops and great places for breakfast. And, it is practically opposite a lovely wine bare/tapas restaurant (I think it was called the Cave). There is absolutely no noise from this so don't let that be a worry (it is at the higher end :-)) I would stay here again and can recommend it.

Always difficult to get sofas right - it was lovely but could be a bit more cosy - but really, that would not put me off (I have given comfort a 9 and stand by that!). The small arm chairs were comfy.

Home from home

The owner has taken time to make Sea Breeze very homely. Location was spot on for exploring locally and parking easily found outside. Everything needed for a comfortable stay is provided. Great shower. Made good use of The Ship Tavern at the end of the road!

No outside space but a beach is a minutes walk and a large green space/play area close by. Not an issue.

Great location, spotless, but oddly thoughtless on the details

Spotless, well decorated and excellent location.

The shower was useless (scalding or freezing, unless you made do with a trickle), uncomfortable sofa, no clothes storage in the main bedroom and not a single coat hanger in the entire house, which was really inconvenient. Lots of decorative items, hardly any practical spaces like bathroom shelves, hanging clothes space etc. It's like the owners have never actually stayed there and thought about what people really need. But it's insta worthy!

Fabulous apartment, great time in Anstruther and will definitely be back

We absolutely loved everything about Sea Breeze. Its location was right in the centre of Anstruther yet being situated one street off the main road it was exceptionally quiet. We managed to get parked outside every day during our 4 nite stay. The apartment was lovely and clean and beautifully decorated and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Our young dog Monty loved his walks and became a favourite in The Boathouse and The Bank! We will definitely be back but will have to book early so we don't miss out. Thank you for a lovely stay.
