Location. Comfortable flat.

The view of May Isle has disappeared because of the construction of houses opposite. No instructions were available as how to operate the radiators in the rooms.

I will return to this lovely apartment

This is a lovely, comfortable and cosy apartment near the harbour. Anstruther is a beautiful historic town that has retained its charm. The local people are friendly, great toward dogs and has fabulous restaurants and pubs nearby. the beaches nearby are fantastic and we walked from Anstruther to Crail and back after having lunch in the Harbour cafe. Crail is worth a visit too. This is my second stay in this apartment and has everything that you would need for a short break. the flights of stairs up to the property are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Absolutely excellent flat in great location.

The location is great. The flat was spotlessly clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The flat was really well equipped with everything you could possibly want. Communicaton with Daryl was excellent. There were nice touches such as leaving a loaf for us and quite a few small packs of biscuits, and the toiletries were first class. We would not hesitate to go back.

A very comfortable, spotless flat in a great location from lovely hosts ready to help with anything.

The flat was lovely, every detail was considered to ensure an enjoyable stay. It was so clean and fresh. The bed was really comfy. A quiet area, a few minutes to walk in to the town. Perfect.

We liked everything. Wish I’d booked for a longer stay.

It was walking distance to the water, shops and restaurants. Very comfortable and many little touches that were appreciated, like the loaf of bread!

We really liked the apartment

the flat was clean , cosy and very nicely decorated. The host kindly agreed for us to check in at 12 which was greatly appreciated. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at the apartment.

Living room was not heated enough, but this was not a major issue as we used the blankets in the evenings.

Lovely apartment, close to sea and harbor, dog friendly and great place to stay.

This is a lovely little apartment to stay in and would thoroughly recommend. It's exceptionally clean and it has everything we could possibly need. Hair dryer, straighteners, bread, jam, tea. coffee, lots of kitchen utensils, even dog bowls and a dog towel. Extras such as washing up liquid, tea towels and decent amount of loo roll means you don't need to bring much with you. Comfy beds with thick duvets and a homely feel makes it fabulous. It was very quiet. We did not hear any neighbors or much traffic.

There wasn't much to dislike. We loved everything. Being picky, the shower could do with a little more power but the water was hot and plentiful, and it's down to personal preference. Don't let it stop you booking this apartment.

Parking could be restrictive as many people parked up in busy times when visiting the town centre. However, we managed to find parking nearby.

This lovely flat is so clean, cosy and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds with pristine, white bedding, great location and very quiet.

best trip and have booked again for September

My son, dog and I enjoyed our short trip to Anstruther, which is really beautiful. The apartment was really comfortable and very clean with great amenities. I love that there were treats, bowls and towels for my dog. Fabulous view of the sea and was a very short walk to billow ness beach. We walked to Pittenweem. Anstruther is a foodie place, with fabulous restaurants and would recommend The Dreel Tavern (minutes from the apartment), The Ox and Anchor and Bread and Butter. The Ship Tavern was good for drinks and was very friendly. Pretty much everywhere is dog friendly.

Good Stay. Excellent location.

Ideal location. Flat was very clean. A home from home experience. Leaflets were helpful when looking for things to do. Also a nice gesture to leave us bread. And nice to have tea bags, sugar, salt, pepper etc

Great weekend in wonderful accommodation that was an excellent base for exploring East Neuk coastlin

Accommodation was in a great location and in close proximity to restaurants, bars and harbour. The accommodation is well equipped with many thoughtful touches that surprised us . Immaculately clean with quality fittings and furnishings. Would definitely stay again.

Building directly in front was being refurbished and scaffold blocked view slightly . This is obviously a temporary issue . Other than that , there is absolutely nothing we didn’t like about the accommodation.

Short stay to celebrate partners 50th - ticked all our boxes and then some - Anstruther is great.

No breakfast included but sachets of milk, biscuits, tea bags, loaf of bread - essentials appreciated. Spotless clean and newly decorated. Great views of sea (beyond building / yard under construction). Got parking space close to flat. Great internet connection. Stayed this time last year and whole flat had been upgraded to an even higher standard.
