A wee bit awkward to find but that’s not a big issue

Great location, comfortable place, we would return for a stay anytime.

Location was fantastic, loved the welcome basket. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable living room. Plenty of great restaurants nearby and the beach just steps away! We also loved stopping by the Community Kist downstairs and perusing the wares. Great spot for kids - they absolutely loved playing Scrabble and Guess Who and reading all the Horrid Henry books. So nice to have games and books available for visitors.

Despite the instructions it was still a little hard to find the place, but we managed it in the end. Maybe mention the door is around the corner on the other street and that you have to walk through a narrow close to the middle door. Might not be the best place for people with huge wheeled bags or anyone with mobility issues, but worked out well for us.

Great location to explore the Fife coast.

Excellent base, the location was great, good to have your own space to come and go rather than a hotel room, kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Great hosts answered any questions very swiftlykl.

The outside was a bit gloomy with having to pass the smelly bins to get to the apartment, but it can't be helped. But once in all, ok. My in-laws struggled with the spiral staircase, but they got the best bedroom, the smaller bedroom is snug, my husband and myself prefer a bigger bed, it was very cosy! Would maybe benefit from a foam mattress.

We had a good few days greatly helped by superb weather.

Access was problematic because the key box would not open when we put code in. Key box also situated far too high on the wall making it very difficult to see if we had entered correct number (we had), also 'porch' light didn't seem to work.

Fife Coast Life

Easy to find with good directions and to collect keys. Short walk to harbor. Two bed two bath. Well equipped kitchen with sharp knives. Electric fireplace. Along Fife Coastal Path. Good value. Cute lighthouse layout but lots of stairs.

great location to for a quick weekend getaway without need for much planning

It's very close to the town center so going for a meal or doing shopping was not a problem at all. The 2 level layout made easy to put my children to bed upstairs and then enjoying the evening downstairs.

Fab Anstruther stay

Excellent accommodation, bit shocked on entrance at bins, bags lying around etc but quality of accommodation made up for this, and was no reflection on owners, fab location, everything you could need in apartment, very high standard, and owners very kind in letting us in early and later leaving time, would certainly stay again, great time in Anstruther

Spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable apartment within a 2 minute walk of the beach. Beautiful location. Comfy beds, nice and warm, great facilities (including washer/dryer). Would definitely stay again when visiting the lovely town of Anstruther :)

Fabulous Find!

Quirky flat hidden away off the Main Street . Very clean and comfortable . Very well equipped -great communication with owners - who even sent a card for our anniversary - as well as leaving a bottle of fizz! The personal touches really made our week extra special !

Great location and fabulous home

A spacious, well presented home. Excellent kitchen facilities and nice touch of leaving some biscuits and hot drinks. All soft furnishings, crockery and toiletries really good quality. Great range of books, dvd's. Particularly liked the little travel guides, so much so, ended up ordering one for myself! A lovely, welcoming and cosy apartment. Both Kenny and Gillian great hosts, would definitely recommend.

Ansthruther strollers at smugglers loft

All the nice local touches to the decor very quite location all be it its located between 2 roads. Ideal for all local amenities, and grass at the school for the dog to run on in the morning. Convenient for fife coastal path. There is a store next door for milk etc. The vegan cafe in Rodger street was also useful The bank hotel/restaurant was also good. 15 mintes to St Andrews

A cosy gem on the East Neuk

A fantastic, cosy flat, seconds from the beach at Anstruther and 2 minutes from the famous fish bar! We stayed for Christmas and had everything we needed. The owners made it christmassy for us with some lovely decorations which was much appreciated and the living room Dimplex made it super cosy. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were really comfy. There were games, books and tips for places to visit nearby.
