Venice Boutique Apartment

Good location, fairly quiet neighbours after 10pm.

Self service Check in process, we were not given details before we arrived and had to phone the owner for directions and door codes .

Accommodation in Venice can be very expensive, so we thought this apartment represented really good value for money. It is in a largely residential part of Cannaregio, which was perfect for getting away from the hubbub of the busiest tourist areas while still being very conveniently located. The apartment has been very nicely renovated, with plenty of space, two bedrooms and air conditioning. It is on the ground floor, which makes access particularly easy, and within just a few minutes’ walk you are beside the canals with dozens of restaurants, cafés and shops nearby. Our host, Angelo, was very responsive, and check-in was straightforward. Overall, a comfortable, spacious and well-located apartment that offered excellent value for a stay in Venice. The vaporetto stop was a ten minute walk.

It was a bit nerve wracking to arrive and find we had not heen sent the security code, and the main building door did not have a visible key lock box. However after some follow up messaging the details came through.within a few minutes. We then realised that Angelo has remote access to the apartment door and the building main door. It all worked fine once we understood the set up. A key had been left inside for us.
