AMAZING location
Amazing location in Bayeux!!! The apartment was beautiful and charming! Very clean and spacious. The host was very friendly and accommodating.
Not a negative, but something to be aware of - the apartment is on what we would call the fourth floor in the States (third floor to the French). The staircase is spiral. I had my carry-on sized backpack and it was fine. If you pack heavier you would probably have issues.

Wonderful!
Wonderful apartment! It exceeded all expectations. Everything was clean and convenient, with all the necessary amenities provided. The location is excellent—just a few steps from the main cathedral.
In the early morning, you can hear some noise from the street (for example garbage truck), but if you use earplugs, it doesn’t disturb your sleep.

Best location in town for solo travelers!
The apartment is great. Its location couldn’t be better: on a historic street where the cathedral is. The apartment has everything you need to cook your own meals and a minibar. The bed is comfy and so is the living room (lots of brochures and board games). Perfect for a solo traveler or a young couple. Oh and Bayeux, wow, simply beautiful. The host was more than friendly: he gave me lots of advice and helped me find a train to go to Mont Saint Michel (it’s Bayeux-Pontorson). Thank you so much!
There is nothing I didn’t like, but I must warn fellow travelers with big luggage or people who are over 50 that the spiral stairs are a bit scary (3rd floor), though the host has told me they are looking into installing some rope/banister.

Great apartment, but watch the stairs
What a delightful third floor apartment, spotlessly clean, well decorated, with views across the town, plus biscuits and a coffee machine. My only concern were the narrow stone spiral stairs with no handrail, not ideal for older guests, or those with heavy bags or mobility issues. There's nothing to hold on to, so if you slip.. well. It really does need a hand rail or banister.
