Wendy's place is a slice of heaven right on the lake! The space is so private with a full kitchen (which came in so handy) and so much outdoor seating to overlook the lake. We loved watching the hummingbirds in the morning as we had our coffee. Great location to get to surrounding areas (Silverton, Durango, Telluride). Wendy and her husband are so kind. Looking forward to hopefully staying again sometime.

Very welcoming hosts and an awesome property. I wish we could have stayed longer. We mostly used it as a place to sleep in between quick visits to Mesa Verde and Telluride. I would book this location again in a heartbeat.

I only stayed a couple of nights, but IT WAS WONDERFUL!! Peaceful, soul restoring and beautiful. Wendy and Paul were great. The cabin and views were awesome. They shared the bounty of their garden. Raspberries, grapes, tomatoes... delicious. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

We stayed for 4 nights and did a lot of sightseeing the area, going to Dolores, Telluride, Durango, Cortez, and Mancos. Very wonderful accommodations (comfy bed and great bath), and our host were so kind showing us around and telling us what we might like to see going around the area. We had to make a meal for friends that were staying towards Telluride and so easy to make the meal at the cabin and take with us to their camp. If we go up to that area again, you can be sure we will be staying with our host at this great cabin in Dolores.
