Prepare to be enchanted by The Witchnest at Clatterway Hill in Bonsall. This charming cottage built in 1876, is set against a backdrop of wooded hillside with an ornate spring-fed well at the front of the cottage – The Witchnest really is something from a fairy tale – A Magical Holiday Cottage.
This traditional stone-built, two bedroom cottage has a woodburning stove, original beams and stone mullioned windows. Recently renovated to provide all the modern comforts expected by holiday guests – you are sure a warm Derbyshire welcome. The kitchen benefits from washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher along with all the essentials you’ll need. The Witchnest has private off-road parking with an EV charging point. The high speed broadband will be a must for those who need to work whilst away or even with children who need broadband!
The versatile accommodation sleeps 4. Bedroom 1 is a king bedroom and Bedroom 2 can be a super king or two single beds.
Outside you have a secluded patio area with seating, perfect for watching the world go by and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Bonsall is a quiet village with tearooms and two great pubs within walking distance, there are also various footpaths from the cottage. On the edge of the Peak District you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to exploring the area.
