Great location in a quiet street yet within a few minutes walk of all the amenities. Beautifully renovated house which has been maintained to a high standard. Lovely, light rooms and a small but pretty courtyard garden. Good quality bed linen and towels and comfortable beds. Very well equipped kitchen with thoughtful touches like sufficient teabags and dishwasher tablets to last for the duration of our stay. Kirkcudbright is a charming town and makes a great base for exploring the surrounding areas.

The location was ideal, very close to the town and easy to walk around. Lovely quiet area. The owners had thought of everything you might need for a self catering break. There was ample crockery, glasses, serving dishes, dishwasher and cooking appliances etc. The cottage is extremely comfortable and finished to a very high standard. It is spotlessly clean. Ample information was available about the cottage and surrounding area. I wished we had time to tackle the Treasure Trail. Hopefully next time.
