Fabulous view and a great location

Great location close to the centre of St Ives and not too far from the nearest car park or train station. Large rooms with big windows and a fabulous view from the living room.

Could do with a bit less ‘stuff’ it’s personal taste but we prefer a calm and minimal interior and definitely don’t want to see any clocks when we’re on holiday!

There was dog hair on the mat in the bedroom with the bunk bed and some pots and plates weren’t clean.

Exceeded expectations!

We travelled with another two people. We stayed at Harbour, other two in another property. The place is so much bigger than advertised, we would have happily stayed together and paid more if we had known. Its amazing property, indeed!

Amazing property. The views are stunning. The property makes you feel like you’re living in lovely St Ives. Spacious and well located. Would highly recommend.

Parking is difficult to find in St Ives. No parking available for this apartment is the only drawback.

Location was great, and the views were stunning

Filthy! Dust and crumbs everywhere. White pillow case had so many different types of hairs on in the main bed I ended up sleeping on my t-shirt hoping for the best. Was very disappointed to find out the property manager had left us to make the sofa bed, but she’d told us where to find everything and as it was a special birthday of mine, I didn’t want to make a fuss. We came in late after being in town. Was desperate to get the kids to bed quick. To realise the fitted sheet we’d been left with was far too small and no matter how I tried would not fit, I couldn’t see any other bedding available and as we’d been left with no info I decided to cut the offending lady in one corner as to get some coverage on the sofa bed, for hygiene purposes for both parties. As I’ve done Airbnb myself, I was sure the property manager when I told her in the morning would of felt very embarrassed about the situation, as they had not provided the right bedding and would be pleased that I’d come up with a solution. But even though I told her clearly what happened no apology was made and she would like me to replace the fitted sheet even though she has sheets that fit the sofa bed? I understand it wasn’t any easy decision to make, but the sheet was of the £5 value ones. And I would rather pay for a new one than expect my kids to sleep on a half on, half off fitted sheet.

The location is excellent, and communication with the host was exceptional. We greatly appreciated the lovely view from the living room and the convenient proximity to the city center and the train station. However, the property did not meet the highest standards of cleanliness.

Comfy home away from home in the heart of St Ives

Beautifully decorated, really central but in a nice, quiet area. Jill is an attentive and flexible host who clearly loves the property. Kitchen excellent, bed comfy and twinkly lights in the living room/on the balcony really added to the vibe. Would absolutely return! Haven’t been to St Ives in ages but quickly remembered how much I love it. Even better now that food options are elevated. Don’t miss Talay Thai and the Rum and Crab Shack!

Quirky property in an ideal location for st Ives

Loved the decor of the property and the location was perfect. It didn’t have parking but was able to drop off the belongings and could either park in the leisure centre or car park (5 mins away). The apartment was at the top of the town of st Ives and was a very short walk for the harbour which then connects to the other beaches.

Overall, a very good and a relaxing stay at the property.

The property is centrally located with easy access to the public transport, beach, shops and restaurants nearby. Loved the comfort and the attic style of the apartment. It was a perfect apartment with the required amenities provided (though few of them were missing).

The apartment has a stunning view of the bay. All shops were in walking distance

In peak season of you arrive late as check in is only 3pm we could not find a parking and had to park about 1 km from the property which was a hassle to carry luggage
