Aesthetic stay

It is very new and well furnished with an aesthetic theme. It is close to the train station and close to varenna. Close to a small grocery store.

Stairs only. Trains and buses are terrible here as the Bellano station is under repair and workers are on strike and public transport keeps getting delayed or cancelled. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO GET A CAR. SO MANY SPIDERS and other bugs. Even if all the doors and windows are locked. When you come home there will be a few waiting for you. No oven or microwave.

Great Modern Stay in Bellano

I absolutely loved my room! Super modern compared to most properties in the area. It was exactly as shown in the pictures. Everything you need for a few nights stay. The central air condition and new kitchen/bathroom appliances truly made my stay exceptional. The bed was very comfy and they even gifted me a complementary wine bottle upon arrival. Their instructions on accessing the building/room was very clear and made the check-in super easy with a contactless user friendly app. I would highly recommend this property for your next stay!

The only downside is the road to access the property if you are on foot. It is very close to the bus/train station. However, if you are walking to the property from the central part of town you will have to walk alongside a highway with no sidewalks and up a hill. So I suggest maybe order a car if you have more than one luggage or traveling with children. I would also be careful with the stairs leading up to the property because it's slippery when raining to avoid falling. (Like I did).

Comfy bed, good kitchenette.

Dark without much natural light in the bedroom, bathroom had no ventilation so the appartment felt quite stuffy after a shower. Location is close to Bellano but means you have to walk on to a very busy road without footpaths…

On the main road so needed to carry shit are up the road where there is no walkway but found an easier way to go through the train station up the stairs then it is closer to cross over

A great reliable place to stay, we would definitely come again!

Great service, amazing decoration and was comfortable and secure, we loved the digital key system. The location was great, close to the train station which was really handy for us!

Unfortunately some of the decorative cushions had stains on them and the bidet was blocked, so had water in when we came.

The location was great. The apartment was spacious and clean.

The check in process was a little hectic. The host, Mattia, didn't reply to my inquiries. There were no paper towels or napkins. There wasn't enough toilet paper.

The property was in a great location only a 2 minute walk from Bellano train station which is direct from Milan and also on the line to visit varenna. The property had all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. The communication was great from the host, who was always happy to help with any questions we had. Being able to leave our luggage at the property before and after check in was great too.

Very close to station and clean apartment.

Very close to Bellano Tartavele station. A flight of stairs(50-70 steps approx) from platform 2 exit will take you the Apartments in 100m. Nice, clean and views(not for the lowest floor though). They can keep your baggage before check in time. We were allowed to checkin early by 1hr and that is much appreciated.

The accommodation was spacious, clean and modern. The price was very good value for money.

Minor disadvantages. I could not get the coffee machine to work, and the plug and light on the right side of the bed did not work and was loose. Furthermore, there is no footpath to the accommodation and getting into the building through the online portal could be a pain. But overall, still a good stay, would reccomend.

Superb

The accommodation met all our expectations and was great for what we needed. It was ideally located close to the train station but the walk to it is on a narrow road which was challenging at times with the traffic and no footpath. The apartment was clean and spacious. The hosts were friendly and reacted immediately when there was a small issue with the toilet.

The entry to the property was the most complicated we have encountered on our travels with a three step process of gate, main door and apartment door all with a key and internet release. We get the need for security but this seems a little excessive.

Very good

Actually everything was ok until I received a whatsapp message of the owner 2 months later. The message said that the payment didn’t go through with Booking. In my application of snooking everything seems to be correct. The owner said via a random whatsapp number that I just had to pay through a link that he would provide in Whatsapp… Doesn’t look very trustworthy. If I said that I wanted to have a confirmation from booking itself than he said that they would contact me asap. Took them 2 weeks but in the meantime the “manager” urged me every 2-3 days to pay.

Exceeded my expectations!!

The location was very close to Bellano station and the view from our balcony was beautiful, the flat was spacious and very clean and modern. The facilities were lovely and the shutters on the windows kept out so much light and heat it was very nice inside.

The air con only goes down to 24°c so we kept waking up hot in the night. And the walk from the station to the flat is rather dangerous as you have to walk along a busy road with no pavement, obviously this is no fault of the property just something to bear in mind if traveling with kids etc.

Great location for Bellano.

The location is great, really near the train station and 10 minutes from the Main Street of the town. I really appreciated the self check in through the app. The room is big enough for 2. We also enjoyed the garden.

Sadly the WiFi was too weak in the area of our room. We could hardly use it. I had to work online and had some meetings, so I moved to the front garden. The internet worked ok for a while and then it was impossible to continue. Personally I found the bed not very comfortable.

The apartament is situated near the train station. It is also very close to the supermarket. The Lake Como is within 10 min. walking distance. The apartament is very clean and well equiped.

Make sure your phone is constantly charged or you're in trouble!

Positives: Good location, good shower (although a bit dirty), nice view, nice terrace and lovely exterior facade. Loved Bellano.

The pre arrival check in process was ridiculously long... the questions were unnescessary, just short of asking what we'd had for our breakfast. Upon arrival we opened the gate and main door easily using the link on the email, however the apartment door itself refused to cooperate. We tried for 20 minutes to open it but the door handle just twisted around frustratingly. Tried calling the number provided but there was no connection. Eventually after much colourful language we managed to get it open but had the same problem each and every time we tried to gain entry. In the end we resorted (very reluctantly given all our valuableswere innate) to leaving the terrace unlocked so we didn't have to go through the frustration of viskey...I suspect many other residents were doing the same given that the main door and gate were mostly left open. I don't normally leave bad reviews but this experience was very frustrating, added to by the fact that we lived in constant fear of the phone dying and not being able to get in the gate. I feel that in their rush to modernise this villa, the owners missed a trick. Had they avoided the gimmicky app set-up and spent their money instead on some old fashioned keys, a couple of pillows for the sofa bed (only 2 pillows available for 4 people) and a few soft furnishings/pictures for the walls, I might have actually enjoyed this apartment. After all, it's set in most likely a centuries-old villa in the hills above beautiful lake Como... hard to tell though as the mundane grey IKEA aesthetic and harsh overhead lighting has sucked every ounce of personality from this poor old Italian villa and left in it's place a soul-less apartment block that on the inside has the look and feel of an identikit mobile home reminiscent of one of the many camping holidays we've had over the years... could have been in any town, in any country in Europe. Such a pity. Very disappointing stay.

Very good

Very nice room, clean, newly refurbished, and with all the needed facilities for a short stay. Communication with the host was very smooth and so were the self check in and out.

The accommodation is on a road without a walkpath and it felt a bit dangerous to walk there especially at night or with rain. The windows of our room faced the next building.

Beautiful experience!

Very clean, bright, newly refurbished property, the sheets and bedding is very fresh and comfortable. We were lucky to have our flat with the view to the lake and mountains. The property is located just 3 minutes walk from the train station and 5-7 mins walk from the Ferry office. There are grocery shops also close by. We travelled by boat to Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils to cook and we tried to cook breakfast and dinners sometime. The host of the property was always available and friendly to answer all questions. In general, we really enjoyed our stay at this property, great value for money, highly recommend!

Apartment was nice, it has everything you need for a short stay and kitchen is well equipped. Direct and quick comunication with the owner, he helped about parking fees.

It doesn’t have a private parking (yet) so you have to use a public one. You have to walk on the road and over the railway to get to the city from apartment so that was a bit dangerous. Also the floors and toilet weren’t completely clean.

We had the room with the terrace which was lovely to look over the lake, terrace was small but big enough for 2 people to sit :) super comfy big bed, good location close to the train station and short walk to the lake. Perfetto per visitare Bellano e dintorni

Appartamento perfetto per una coppia e dotato di ogni comfort: i prodotti da bagno, l'asciugacapelli, il ferro da stiro, asciugamani extra, bicchieri, tazze, posate e pentole. C'è la lavastoviglie e una perfetta organizzazione di bidoncini per la raccolta differenziata: sembra cosa da poco ma è sempre difficile capire come buttare la spazzatura quando si è in vacanza e si è spesso costretti a buttare tutto senza criterio. L'ho apprezzato tantissimo! L'appartamento è vicinissimo alla stazione e anche al centro città, bisogna percorrere una stradina un po' stretta, attraversata da un passaggio a livello: non ci sono marciapiedi ma è talmente breve il tratto che non è un problema. In tutto il paesino ci sono questi passaggi pedonali non ben definiti! Se si arriva con l'auto, però, c'è un parcheggio a disposizione proprio accanto all'edificio, anche per caricare e scaricare le valigie. Nonostante la vicinanza alla stazione, di notte abbiamo dormito senza troppi rumori. L'appartamento è pulito e caldo e siamo stati accolti con una bottiglia di vino: molto gradita! Il check-in è stato molto semplice: nei giorni precedenti ci è stato inviato un link tramite il quale, dopo aver caricato i documenti, potevamo aprire le varie porte dell'edificio. Per noi è stato tutto perfetto e ci siamo goduti Bellano in tranquillità.

modernes kommerziell bewirtschaftetes Appartement mit funktionaler Klimaanlage, Küchenzeile und Nesprsesso-Maschine

unfassbarer Checkin-Prozess mit Nötigung! Man steht nach 12h Fahrt mit der ganzen Familie in der prallen Sonne vor dem Haus an der Hauptstrasse, die in den Ort führt. Der Schwerlastverkehr rauscht 1-2 Meter neben uns in Sichtweite des Bahnhofes den Berg herunter. Man bekommt einen online-Link (wenn man eine gute Daten-Roaming-Verbindung hat) dort wird man genötigt zunächst seine Kreditkartendaten einzugeben, damit die "Kurtaxe" - tasse di soggiorno abgebucht werden kann. Dann werden die Pass-/Personalausweis-Daten der gesamten Familie verlangt, inclusive Fotos der Pässe und der Pässe mit Selfie zusammen. Dazu wird in der App in der prallen Sonne nur die Frontkamera des Smartphones aktiviert. Erst dann bekommt man einen weitern Link zu einer "Schlüssel-App" in der 3 weitere Links die Türen öffnen - Tor zur steilen Treppe des Grundstücks - Haustür - Appartementtür. Eine physischen Schlüssel gibt es nicht. Das Tor an der Strasse ist defekt. Kommunikation mit dem "Betreiber" unterirdisch desinteressiert ignorant und das in italienischer Sprache der ich durchaus mächtig bin!
