The room was super clean and comfortable. The location is amazing, nothing beats having your morning coffee on the roof terrace with that view. Giovanni is extremely helpful and friendly, i cant say enough how great he is! There are even bicycles you can ride into town, which is super convenient.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Offered free bicycles that we could use (which was very nice). The room was very clean, with all necessities, even extra blanket and pillows. The mattress is hard, which for us was a great thing as we are used to it and it helped us to sleep comfortably.

Giovanni was an exceptional host. He offered to give us a ride from Bellano train station to the apartment ,just about a 5 min drive. I loved how close were were to the lake just across the street. I loved that it was quieter, less crowded than Varenna or Bellagio. I loved that the apartment overall was updated/newer fixtures and furnishings. The balcony was nice and loved hearing the waterfall outside. The terrace was lovely, we would have enjoyed it if we stayed longer. We will be back!

For the same reason I liked how quiet it is, if you come by train, it is a 10 min walk to the town and restaurants, which was fine for the most part. We'd love to come back and would come by car next time.

We were picked up at the train station and were given a brief introduction on the area. We were given good recommendations on restaurants in the area and the location was amazing. Thanks for a great stay!

The sleeping couch was not that good. But everything else was good!

Really nice host, so nice to have a small beach just across the street.

We would really have liked to get the breakfast and didn’t notice that was not offered this year until after the booking.

Apartments were perfect, nice and clean, bed comfy and a good shower. Luca was really helpful and picked us up from the local station. Walk into town is ten mins where you find shops and restaurants. All in all a great stay. Thank you Luca.

Location just too far out of town

Location is perfect - nice beach is just across the road and it is ~10 min walk to the heart of the town. Host is providing beach chairs and umbrellas. The room is nice, cozy and very clean. The bed is comfy, the breakfast is quite plain, but good enough - very tasty croissant and pie with ricotta! We were there for 1 day only, but we've got so pleasant impression, many thanks 😊

This is a beautiful all new property! We booked the quadruple room as it was the only one left on the site even though there was only 2 of us. It was a bonus as we had the direct view across the road to the lake and lots of space. Everything about this property is great - quiet, comfy beds, great air con, big bathroom, balcony with sunset views over the lake, 1 min to the beach, parasols and deck chairs available to take to the beach, great bikes to cycle to town (5 mins), and a quiet mini fridge in the wardrobe. The walk into town is a very nice 15min route along the lakeside road and mostly on a path. The terrace on the roof is delightful too with the best view. We didn't have breakfast as we had to leave very early but Luca did direct us to the best bakery in town where we picked up the same amazing croissants and pastries that he gives his guests and they make the most delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. AND very importantly, Luca the host, will pick you up and drop you off at the train station in his car! Luca was so helpful and friendly throughout. Thank you Luca. IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: 1. The Orrido ravine is open 9am-7pm last entry around 6.30pm (NOT as some websites say 10am-10pm) 2. Trainnord strike sometimes - look out for this as the taxi journey from Milan will cost you €185! 3. For a bit of beach luxury, Bellano Lido is excellent for sun-shaded lakeside beach days in town (plus pool for the kids - take a bathing cap, they are compulsory, or pay €4 for one). It has great food too. 4. The public beach (Spiaggia) is adjacent to the Lido and only 5 mins walk along the promenade from the little pier/centre of town. 4. There is a luggage storage room in the town centre opposite the pier. Costs €1 per bag to deposit a bag in an automated locker and €1 to retrieve - card & cash payment. So grateful for this!

Nothing! Everything was fantastic and I totally recommend this property. It is a little walk from the centre of town but don't let that put you off. I would like to stay for longer next time and use the bikes to cycle more around the lake and take the ferry to other towns. Sundays are VERY busy in town in the summer and two of the best restaurants are closed on Mondays so ask Luca to recommend so you can book ahead.

The breakfast was delicious and a wonderful setting to eat out on the roof terrace. My partner and I dont eat meat and they accommodated us happily. We were also offered use of their bikes and sun chairs, which was a very kind offer too.
