Searenity at Southcliff

The property is spacious and in a good location for the South Beach. We particularly liked the comfortable bed and the shower, which my husband says is the best electric shower he's ever used. Richard is an excellent host who communicates very promptly and was very kind to bring us an emergency corkscrew! And a private car parking space is a bonus. We also liked the thoughtful touches of cookies, Pringles, soft drink and milk. We were only there for one night (to see a gig at the brilliant Open Air Theatre) but would happily stay for longer if we go back to Scarborough.

We found it difficult to find the property when we arrived, and drove round for a good 10 minutes.

Lovely and spacious, very comfortable bed and sofa, nice shower. Owner also very pleasant and accommodated a later check-out for us which we were very grateful for after a night at a gig. Nice touches such as pop/milk/snacks.

I must agree with the feedback below, it felt a little unfinished and for the price we paid for a night (£167) I was expecting a little more quality. A lot of areas weren’t finished, kitchen cupboards ill-fitting, four mismatched glasses in cupboard, LED lights hanging off in kitchen, holes around newly fitted lights and mostly used bottles of shower gel and hand wash but overall, a pleasant stay.

Good location with a short walk into the town and a good parking space!

Although the property is very nice, it was needing some finishing touches that arguably should have already been in place. These did not effect us but for the price I would have expected a finished property.

Floors had clearly not been steam cleaned for a while. Expensive for what it was. Kitchen area felt like it was thrown together. Cobwebs behind doors. Could be better equipped in kitchen.
