Il fatto che fossero due appartamenti quasi comunicanti, pur rimanendo separati, è stato sicuramente un valore aggiunto, soprattutto per avere più privacy senza rinunciare alla vicinanza. A soli cinque minuti dall’appartamento si trova l’Esselunga, molto comoda per acquistare tutto il necessario. Abbiamo inoltre apprezzato tantissimo la possibilità di depositare le valigie con quattro ore di anticipo rispetto al check-in: ci ha permesso di visitare la città senza ingombri e iniziare subito il soggiorno in totale tranquillità. La fermata del pullman dista circa 7/8 minuti a piedi ed è ben collegata con il centro. Al ritorno, invece, il bus ferma praticamente sotto casa, il che è davvero comodo.

Unica piccola pecca: il letto singolo nell’appartamento B e i divani letto non sono particolarmente comodi. Nel complesso, però, è stato un ottimo soggiorno e ci siamo trovati molto bene

Next to the river and virtually the only park with trees I saw in Florence, very convenient transport (both tram and bus stations are nearby; tram is better). Apartment is big, spacious. Neighbourhood is okay, no crimes were committed in front of us, except for people driving above the speed limit everywhere. It does have a giant supermarket nearby, I thought it was a tiny store, but it’s big and very well stocked. Apartment has a working oven, which was my reason to book it. Bed is comfortable, it was decently clean.

1. A bug crawled on my pillow in the middle of the night. Although we didn’t open the windows at night (the only time you can get fresh air without it being boiling hot), because I saw lizards climbing the building across the street, we somehow still got nasty bugs. => However many comments say there are no mosquito nets on the windows, in June 2026 it’s still that way. 2. Staircase leading to the apartment is dangerous and I do not recommend booking this one if you are older or with limited mobility. I believe was not announced in the booking conditions. 3. I had to provide a selfie with my ID, along with my ID and my companions ID, one week before my arrival. Somehow I think the selfie wasn’t required by the law, however I was ensured everything is in accordance with a police procedure for tourists. 4. Communication with Cleanbnb (the host) is somewhat difficult. After sending my ID and information (which was 5 days before my arrival), I had to wait until less than 24 hours of my flight to see if everything is okay and if someone would actually welcome me. I even got booking.com involved and the host answered only after being contacted by them. For an anxious person such as myself this was a nightmare. After this, they sent me 3 emails with 3 variations of the same thing: “someone from our team will contact you a few days before your arrival”, “one day before your arrival” and “on the day of your arrival”. I consider this very unprofessional. 5. Air conditioning did now reach the living room. Only one body for the whole apartment is not enough. There is a fan in the living room, however it was so dusty I couldn’t bare myself to turn it on. So the whole time it was boiling hot in the living room. 6. There was mold above the AC. Considering mold is toxic, I wouldn’t have booked this one if I knew that. 7. Shower head thing that fixes it on the wall was broken.
