Good location but too many negatives

Location, right in the city centre Clean apartment

Despite the apartment being cozy and clean, being in an old building brings a lot of defficiencies. Firstly, the windows. Old style, wooden frame windows do not allow insulation, therefore the (cold) wind is literally blowing in the room. As the heating/radiators cannot be individually controlled, you can expect low temperature in the apartment. Despite rising the issue with the agency managing the apartment, their answer was: "I apologize. Our team is not able to take any action at the moment, but after checking with them, they informed me that the issue has been reported to the building owner to see if he can move forward with a project to replace the windows throughout the building.🥺" As a countermeasure, i asked the agency to provide an external heater, but this was also rejected: "According to our team, the heating system should be sufficient to warm the apartment. 🙏" Secondly, bathroom and hallway are not equipped with radiators. So expect low temp when going in for a shower or whatever. By the way, there is no shower cabin so wet floor all over bathroom. Use existing shower curtain at your own risk. Our apartment was on 3rd floor with no elevator available. Carrying luggage might be challenging, especially for elder people; stairs are inclined so elder people need good grip Also, considering the number of fans inside the apartment, i would say that its close to impossible to stay during summer time, as there is no air conditioning. If you can disregard these major deficiencies, booking this apartment could be an option if you are Wim Hof type. The only positive is location. But beware there is construction site right in front of the building so expect early morning motivation to wake up.

Good location

The hosts were lovely on all occasions and the location was FANTASTIC. Easy to access all parts of Copenhagen

There was an absolutely disgusting smell in the bathroom and mould on the shower curtains and other areas in the bathroom. The beds were uncomfortable (the foldout bed was literally as hard as a brick). Lots of facilities (dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machines), but nothing to use any of these - no dishwashing liquid, coffee, etc. Ladder to get up to one bedroom so wouldn’t recommend for any children or anyone with mobility issues

Simple, cozy, clean and nice place in centeal Copenhagen

It lives up to its name. Its cozy, very central and clean

The upstairs room can be dangerous for a family with kids. There are holes in between the floors with no railing. A warning would have been nice. Also some basic things are missing just to take it to the next level. Usually there is tea and coffee because not everyone wants to go shopping especially for short visits. We also only used 4 glasses during our stay. It was a waste to tun on the dishwasher for them, but there was no dish soap.

Ideal location but property lacking in home comforts especially the toilet which was too small.

Livingroom & bedrooms were spacious and kitchen was well proportioned.

Toilet was far too small with shower in the circulation space. No toaster and light fitting in main livingroom is not child friendly.

We were parents traveling with our 16-year-old daughter and her three sixteen-year-old friends. The apartment was spacious and clean. The building has a lot of charm—an old house where much of the original character has been preserved. The spirit of the past lingers in the air. The location is excellent. It takes just one minute to walk down to Strøget, and it’s a short walk to Kongens Nytorv and Rådhuspladsen. The metro at Gammel Strand is only a two-minute walk away. A full five stars.

Cozy place at the heart of Copenhagen

The location of the flat is just at the heart of Copenhagen. Most of the attractions and popular restaurants are in 15 min walking distance and the flat itself is very large and comfortable.

The Wi-fi did not work for 4 days despite the guidance of the management. It has been solved after 4 days but it caused a great problem. The bathroom is also very small compared to the apartment.

Wonderful

The apartment is really pretty, and location is absolutely perfect. It's right in the center with access to tourist spots, subway, and supermarket. Besides, the boat tour is just around the corner, which is the perfect start on visiting copenhagen city. The kitchen was also very nice while you can find most of the essential utensils to bring up good plats on table. There was also proactive call to check if everything is fine on our check in and stay, which is really friendly.

There could be a light above the stove, would make cooking easier but it's not something must.

We loved that it was close to everything, shopping, restaurants and sights. All were within walking distance.

The second bedroom has a low ceiling . So if no one in your group 5ft tall or less, then expect to be hunched over when standing up. My daughter and I stayed in that room coz we are both short . Great room if you have kids.

Lack of ammenities e.g. they supply a coffee maker and kettle but no tea bags or coffee pods. We had a problem with the drainage in our flat which made an awful smell in our bathroom. The staff were quick to respond and if we were staying longer I do think the issue would have been solved.

Bad Experience in Copenhagen

The location and size of the rooms.

The bathroom is tiny, and the shower is very uncomfortable—we were five persons, and the bathroom is not made for the size and capacity of the apartment. Even though the location is perfect, the noise of the street all day and night makes the stay very unpleasant. I guess the problem is the lack of thermal panels. Additionally, the communication with the Nest Collection Team is horrible, and there are no answers to messages, phone calls, or emails. We forgot some keys at the apartment, and it is impossible to contact someone. I am returning to Copenhagen with my family in two more weeks, and we will not stay in the same place.

Location is excellent. Lacking of small deatils of guess needs.

Location is good. Property is a bit run down. Both bedrooms lights are not working. It impossible to contact the host or booking .com for assistance. Providing safe box in the room will be an excellent choice. Instead of the guess having to carrying their passport or cash around.

Main entrance door and property unit door needs to repair. Lighting and heater both need to fix up. If somehow can provide leave bags or luggage at the property place that will be very idea. Instead of looking for other places for storage of bags.

Not suitable for kids, but great location

Plenty of bedding, well equipped kitchen with basic cookware. Location great, 2 minutes to metro, main square, central. Washer Dryer was great! We packed our own detergent (none provided).

“2nd bedroom” was a very high loft with a steep ladder. Not cleaned up there well. Just a bed next to a hole in floor - felt very unsafe for kids to sleep there and had to put them on the couch and “pullout”. Everyone fought over who had to sleep on the rock-hard pullout in the kitchen each night. Duvet on top of couch was good for kid. Constantly reminding kids to be careful playing around the ladder. No lighting at all in the living space - yet no curtains either too much bright lights at night. Bathroom layout - 2’x2’ curtain enclosed - bathroom basically a “wet room” - so awkward but we managed ok. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and moldy food.

The location is perfect, only a few doors down from Hojbro, and very close walking distance to all the old city features. The building is a charming character dwelling, I guess 18th century, with three very generous sized rooms, in addition to kitchen and small bathroom.

Nice, central location close to shopping area and sightseeing spots such as Storkespringvandet, Hojbro Plads, Christianborg and black Diamant; Very clean and fully equipped apartment, nicely furnished in nordic style, in a beautifully renovated neo-classical building; Very helpful contact persons who respond immediately to any enquiries.

Central location to palaces and food. Large room with plenty of room for us and the kids. In room washer and dryer was a major bonus.

Central location also means people on the street below until the early hours of the morning. Entry door is very loud, so every time someone came in late, we knew about it.

Great apartment in a central location

It was clean, central with lots of character. A beautiful apartment.

The “sofa bed” was a single ottoman so needs the description amending. The apartment is on the ground floor of a busy street and the recycling bins are outside the bedroom window so can be very noisy! A fan would be a great addition so that all windows can be shut if needed.

I would recommend this apartment.

Excellent location, in the heart of tourist area. Walkable most places. Very quiet even though there was a restaurant in the back and on a busy street. It’s on the first floor. The entryway has a daybed, that can be a bed. The living room has a couch that is wide enough but not long, ok for shorter person.The bed in bedroom was comfortable. We slept 4 comfortably. We found linens and towels in laundry room, and bedding in wardrobe. Lots of natural light. It was great having a washer and dryer. The TV was big and hadNetflix, Hbomax, and Youtube.

The dryer was ventless which is evidentially common in apartments. The water collection reservoir was full so kept shutting off. I called the company but they didn’t know about working the dryer. I watched a YouTube video and figured this out. I emptied the water and it worked great. Hope this helps someone else. We are not used to Danish addresses so it took a little bit to locate building. The lockbox was lower right next to door didn’t see at first because low. The lockbox is the very last one lower right side.
