Great base in the heart of Annecy Old Town

The apartment is perfectly situated in the middle of the Old Town so you can walk to so many things nearby. Beds were big and comfy, apartment was clean and tidy.

There are a lot of very steep stairs in the apartment so I wouldn't recommend it for small children or elderly people. There are also lots of steps to get up to the apartment as it's at the top of an old building with no lift. It wasn't an issue but may be something to bear in mind if you have lots of heavy luggage like we did!

Do not book this Apartment

The apartment is not suitable for international visitors. We found the 4 flights of stairs very hard to navigate with our luggage , once we were in the appartment we realised the internal steps are closer to being a ladder than steps . We had to book alternative accommodation as two of our party could not navigate the very steep and narrow steps leading to the bedrooms . I have never written a negative review before , but I feel if you are a traveler with luggage , and over a certain age , maybe don’t book this appartment. It was an expensive mistake for us as we had paid in advance , and no refund was offered . I understand all appartments in old Annecy have stairs , but this apartment was very hard to access.

Low quality rental, hot, uncomfortable, and nasty bathroom.

This is a good location, ie on one of the busiest streets in Anncey.

Honest review here. This place was a true low point in our vacation. We were only there two nights to experience the city of Annecy but one of our group ended up booking the second night in a nearby hotel. It's that bad. Three bedrooms but only two air conditioners -- the third is meant to be cooled by the other two I guess. Rooms are all very small. The bathroom had a nasty, moldy shower. There was a window in the bathroom that looks into one of the bedrooms (there is a curtain.) See pics. All furniture is crappy and worn. They are clearly putting no effort into keeping this place up though it ended up being $600 plus per night.

Superb location & cool

Fabulous central location, which made accessing all of the sites in Annecy very easy. Lovely character of a historical building. Excellent air conditioning - it was 37C outside, so to come back to a cool apartment was extremely welcome. Amazing shower - so much impressive technology! Efficient communication with owners.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor, so if you find carrying heavy suitcases up lots of stairs, then this may be a challenge. Also, the steps inside to access the bedrooms in both upper floors were narrow and steep, which great care is needed when using.

Excellent location

Excellent location, overall a good stay despite a few things not working. Well equiped with everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Window hatch in attic did not open which made top level stuffy and hot. Similarly 2nd room on middle level has no ventilation which also makes it stuffy and hot. Could not manage to operate TV nor stove and host did not respond to support message. Had to make own beds upon arrival. Departure instructions were extensive for a holiday letting via booking.com with needing to remove sheets, take out rubbish, etc.

Great location, right in the middle of everything!!

Because of the height of the ceiling it was quite cold on the ground floor. The fireplace didn’t work and we asked to have it fixed but the host never responded. The ladder stair cases were fine for us but I wouldn’t recommend the place for older people.

super apartment, quirky and in a wonderful location.

The location of the property is wonderful. It is in the old city and we were 2 mins from the Christmas market stalls.

For me I found the interior stairs in the apartment a bit awkward, this may not suit everyone. But it is a lovely quirky apartment.

Great location in the heart of old town. Easy walking everywhere. Air conditioning was nice and beds comfortable. The multiple stairs were tricky.

Great location and quaint apartment overlooking the streets of Annecy

Great little appartement close to everything in old town Annecy. Walk right out the exit to the streets of old town. Shops and the chateau are super close.

Be aware there is a washing machine by no dryer. But there is a rack you can fold out to dry your close on so really not that big of a deal. We ran out of toilet paper but the host did deliver some extra.

Photos trompeuses, beaucoup plus petit qu’espéré. Escaliers abruptes, appartement très bruyant à l’intérieur car les cloisons sont très fines. Les lits ne sont pas faits à l’arrivée mais il nous est demandé de les défaire à notre départ. Carrelage de la douche encrassé et sale. Matelas de la chambre bleu en « cuvette », inconfortable. Chambre tout en haut difficilement accessible.

logement non accessible avec le véhicule. compliqué pour déposer les bagages, nous étions très chargées car séjour assez long. l'entrée dans l'immeuble est sale et très nauséabonde. l'équipement cuisine assez sommaire , pas d'essoreuse (uniquement la passoire intérieure) , casseroles, poêles ..dépareillées et usagées ... joins salle de bains sales.. accès aux chambres assez dangeureux

Posizione molto centrale, il parcheggio abbastanza vicino… nel complesso è accogliente!

L’ingresso è collegato con la porta sempre aperta ad una cucina di un ristorante, essendo l’appartamento al terzo piano bisogna trattenere il fiato dal fetore che si divulga in tutte le scale… consiglio un semplice camino sul tetto delle stesse. Una camera è cieca, quella mansardata ha il materasso sul pavimento.
