Extra money they were looking for facilities

House is very spacious and has everything you could possibly need. Super location for fishermen and the walk around the lake was fab. Very relaxing.
Would be a super place for a family meet up. The accessible bedroom downstairs has fantastic facilities for those with mobility difficulties, washroom with rails and craftmatic beds.
Just to note for people booking. You have to pay an extra 100£ for the use of the hot tub, sauna and bbq hut. It is stated when booking but not clearly you have to look for it. Also you have to bring your own coals for the bbq

We had a relaxing stay in this beautiful house on the lake. It is a lovely location and has all the mod cons you need for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was a fantastic extra and we made the most of it during our stay. Jim is a fantastic host and the house is fully equipped and has plenty of space to relax and unwind. It is also extremely clean and the power showers are brilliant! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic house very spacious and clean . The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The lake is right behind the house which has a beautiful walk around it and lots of jetty for fishing. There is a hot tube which we never used but is a added bonus. We stay down in fermanagh a lot for weekends and I think the house is honestly best value for money we have stayed in. We really did enjoy our stay and will definitely be back again.

The property was spotlessly clean. The photos don’t do the place justice. We loved the BBQ hut and sauna. The whole family loved the hot tub. The house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We were blessed with great weather and the outside decking area is a lovely sun trap. We really enjoyed our trip.
Beds were a bit uncomfortable but I have issues with pain. There are 2 disability friendly beds downstairs but another family member was using the room.

Stayed for a week in May 2025 (8 family members and 2 small dogs).
The house itself is the only house situated on the edge of the lake with access to the pathway around it. We brought kayaks and a dinghy with us.
The photos currently online do not do the property justice. We had a great week and most definitely will go back.
Loved the downstairs mobility friendly ensuite bedroom for my parents. (2 single beds with rising backs, higher toilet, grabrail, and walk-in shower with seat). The other bedrooms upstairs were all a great size and all ensuite.
The decor was interesting with stories to tell. The house was very clean.
We enjoyed lighting the log burner in the evenings in the livingroom. Also enjoyed family dinner around the dining table. The sunroom was a nice place to sit if you were first up in the morning while everyone else was still asleep.
We had great weather, so very lucky during our stay. We brought soft arrow archery and badminton to play with in the ample sized garden.
The covered area out the back door between the house and garage was great for keeping our bikes, kayaks, and our dog enclosure.
We met the owner, who was a gentleman. Very helpful and pleasant to talk to.
One of the best bits about the property is it being dog friendly so that you can bring your furry family members too! (Note to others bringing furbabies....we brought a large dog enclosure for the dogs to have space to go outside off the lead as the property is situated on the edge of a busy road and not fully enclosed. We also brought windbreaks and used it around the decking to stop our small dogs from getting out through the gaps).
Constructive criticism only as we loved the place and will definitely return!
The BBQ Hut hadn't been cleaned, so we didn't use it.
Hot tub is great but a little unnerving being positioned under power lines, especially when a farmer hit a telegraph pole in his tractor one evening in the field on the other side of road. Still wouldn't put us off using it!

This place has everything you could ask for to have a relaxed break away. Jim was quick to communicate with and had everything ready for our arrival. The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
The hot tub was excellent to relax in after a day out and about .

The location is amazing...right beside a lake. You can see the lake from the patio area. The patio area is fully enclosed which was great for our dogs. The hot tub is well worth the extra money. So relaxing. The fridge with a built in ice machine and cold water dispenser was also a great wee added bonus. The downstairs is spacious and comfortable with a lovely relaxing sun room. The host has left lots of things to keep you amused, plenty of board games, books, records etc. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There is also a gorgeous barbecue hut which sadly we didn't get to use, but a great extra touch.
Only one of the bedrooms was opened, the rest were locked. I appreciate this is probably for cleaning purposes and this didn't really bother us, but it's worth knowing before you go. This does mean you only have one tiny ensuite bathroom which is a bit of a downside. The ensuite is maybe a little dated, but it is functional! You are next to a main road and you do hear traffic through the day, but lovely and quiet at night. Don't let these minor points put you off going to stay :)

Loved the location such as the Lough on the door step, has all cooking stuff and bottle of prosecco on arrival. Hot tub was great £100 extra. Large home. En suites in all rooms. Loads of information on what to do in the area. Sits beside the Lough were we fished and sat in the sunshine. Views out the back of the house is absolutely stunning. All the property gets the sun morning to night. Walkway round the Lough has had a million pound investment by the council and it's stunning. Toilet rolls provided, shower gel provided, towels provided. You don't need to bring anything with you other than food which is fantastic. BBQ hut was fab! Sauna not up and working yet but looks great.
The busy road out the front had cars speeding and not safe to let children near it. The noise is loud too from the speeding cars. There is building work ongoing on the grounds which we weren't aware of before we booked they're building 2 large houses on site, sorting out sauna and a caravan is being set up.. Man lives on the house grounds which we also were not aware of. Owner was around the property alot of our stay cutting the grass and stuff and seemed like he was keeping an eye on us. He was friendly and nice. When we go away to a holiday home we like to be left alone and relax. This was a b&b before it turned self catering holiday home so maybe the owner misses the house. The back of the house is like a picture perfect place. Absolutely gorgeous. When it's all finished it'll be beautiful.

Everything about our bank holiday weekend away was amazing. The photos do not do this house justice. The House is spacious and well-equipped. The views are stunning over the Lough. The hot tub and barbeque hut were an added bonus. The beds were very comfortable and there was an en-suite for every bedoom. Lots of extra towels were also provided. The welcome pack was a very thoughtful touch. The Lough is literally on your doorstep with a gateway leading to the path. It has a nice walk, which is approximately 1.5 miles. If you are lucky enough, you might hear the neighbour yodelling in the mornings. We went for a relaxing weekend, and we were not disappointed. This was a real home from home, and we will definitely be back.
Thank you so much.
There is a little road noise as it is near a busy road, but it wasn't distracting.
Perhaps a little more finesse around the outside, like weed control, etc, but again, this did not distract from our enjoyment.

The view was stunning. Good amenities, comfortable clean beds, freshly warm baked soda bread on our arrival which was lovely, plus milk a Bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. Cosy and warm enough without the wood burner and loved listening to the old records. Big Jonny Cash and Slim Whitman fans.
A bit close to road, but fine with the windows closed.
Outside Barbeque hut and Sauna could prepared better for guests.
Would prefer to pay via Booking.Com as some difficulties on paying on Arrival.

A beautiful house with a stunning lakeside location. Lovely and warm and cosy. All mod cons. Very Peaceful. Lakeside walk at the back gate. Great base to explore Fermanagh. Excellent tourist information and booklets provided.
Couldn't fault it on anything
