Beautiful Homestay in Undisan.

Breakfast was simple but sufficient. We really like Mr. Koma Wira, our Host. He is super nice, professional guide (english and french) and driver . We have learn a lot about Bali way of life, religion and history.

Bathroom could be more functional.

Fantastic and private family homestay for a real Balinese village experience.

Very friendly and authentic family homestay with everything you need. The hosts are happy to share and talk about everything local and also leave you be in privacy. They recommend an amazing restaurant nearby in a rice paddy setting.

The real Bali experience with a warm hearted family

The parents who are main hosts are so warm hearted and make you feel very welcome. The kids can help with English if you like something specific, and you can rent their scooter. Closeby there is a walk and in the village some small shops to buy food if needed.

The wi-fi didn’t work very well from my room, so I used my own internet (as I need to enter calls) but also my own internet was not great at times. Just to be aware of if you need it, to maybe stay on your days off.

Amazing place, so beautiful, peaceful and authentic. The whole family compound looks magnificent and the family is very warm-hearted. A plus (which might be important to some travelers): hot shower. I would give a rating of 20 if was possible :)

Nice place, very small town.

The room was big and pretty comfortable. The host was away, but he kept in touch and was very helpful. His wife, although not able to speak a lot of English, was very, very helpful and did her best to be available, but also respected my privacy. I appreciated their help. A scooter can be rented at the property.

The place is located in a very small town, but a scooter is needed to get to local restaurants about 7-10 minutes drive away. There are a couple high-end hotels nearby where you can eat, but these are a bit pricey. (Although one is located in a beautiful rice field.) You can eat at the homestay, but the menu is very limited. There are waterfalls in the area, but again, a scooter is needed to reach them.

Best local experience.

My heart is so full after my stay here. The owners made me feel right at home, and included me in local traditions. It was truly the best experience I have had in Bali. The location is great as well-tons to do in the area from the Besakih temple (30m) to one of the most famous waterfalls in Bali (10m). It is worth the stay here! Highly recommend whether you are single, with a significant other, with friends or with a family.

Exceptional

Everything! We felt so welcomed and comfortable that we stayed 3 days with Komang and his beautiful family. The house, the environment, the food, all the little attentions (like the snack that Nene gave us for our roadtrip to our next destination) were very special. We also had great conversations with Komang, the host, who taught us so much about the Balinese culture. We really hope we'll be able to come back soon!

The most welcoming family!

Rindu Homestay is a great place to stay outside of the busy tourist areas. it’s located in a small village, from where you can easily drive to places like Tirta Gangga or Pura Bekasih. The family is amazing! they’ve been super welcoming, the food served was delicious. since the owner used to work as a tour guide, he gave us to tours around the area and to the temples named below. we can really recommend! the room is very clean :)

it’s not a complaint about the owner or the honestly: just recognize there’s no scooter rental anywhere near. so if you prefer doing tours on your own make sure you’ll arrive with a scooter :) but: if you’re not into riding your own scooter the owner will offer great tours.

A lovely family who gave us the warmest welcome. The room is nothing special, but nice and clean with a huge compfy bed. And the banana pancake is a must for breakfast, I'm still dreaming about it.

Empfehlenswert

Die Familie war total herzlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben eine Tour zu den Reisfeldern und den Wasserfällen gebucht, die uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Der kleine freundliche Hund hat uns bei der Tour begleitet, welchen wir ebenfalls schnell in unser Herz geschlossen haben. Die Pancakes haben super geschmeckt und der Außenbereich ist schön. Die Organic Vanilla Farm ist fußläufig entfernt, zu der wir einen Besuch empfehlen würden.

Das Zimmer könnte mal wieder renoviert werden, alles in allem aber ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, wenn man keinen Luxus braucht und nah an den Menschen sein möchte.

De mensen waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er werd lekker voor ons gekookt en ze regelden een gids voor ons om mee op pad te gaan. Mooie plek om wat meer te zien van het Indonesische leven.

Une guesthouse à ne pas manquer!

La localisation au milieu de la campagne balinaise, authentique ! Komang, guide francophone, avec sa maman qui tiennent cette guesthouse nous ont accueilli comme à la maison! Adorables avec nos enfants qui ont fait du karaoke et ont pu poser toutes leurs questions sur Bali et les balinais! Les lits étaient super confortable, une chambre parfaite avec tout le confort, et une 2e chambre qui aurait besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement.

Un séjour agréable!!

Le personnel était au petit soin et très à l’écoute! Une famille adorable!! Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées. Le cadre est super, vous pouvez louer des scoots pour vagabonder.

Petit couac avec les coqs qui chante à tue-tête une partie de la nuit! La chambre était un peu humide mais ce n’est pas de leur ressort, c’est le climat…

Chalereux, amical, bien mangé, qualité prix bon

La famille de Komang est au petit soins, ils sont tous tres chalereux ! La nourriture est bonne et a bon prix, les balades dans les rizières sont top au alentours, ils louent des scooters c'est tres pratiques, possibilité de parler francais, de chanter du karaoke, si vous avez un coup au morale, ils vous redonneront le sourire a coup sûr!

Salle de bain tres rudimentaire, on a les pieds mouillé (pas de raclette de douche) Installer un dispositif pour le pommeau de douche sans avoir a le tenir serait agréable, un tapis de bain aussi.

Блинчики на завтрак были вкусными, хозяева пошли навстречу при возникших проблемах.

Не представляю, насколько крепким должен быть сон, чтобы спать там. Петухи орут всю ночь с завидной периодичностью, а с 4:30 не замолкая. Причем непосредственно над ухом, а с учётом того что над окнами есть незастекленное пространство, звукоизоляция в комнатах нулевая.

El baño estaba en muy mal estado. Muchas humedades en la habitación que me asignaron. Tal vez al viajar solo me dieron la peor habitación, pero mi experiencia no ha sido agradable.

Excelente. Fomos muito bem recebidos pela família Rindu. Tudo estava melhor que esperávamos. O café da manhã foi surpreende onde nos serviram um café puro e coado na hora, que é raro na ilha. Queremos voltar um dia, foi muito especial.

Rindus Homestay sollte eigentlich nur ein kurzer Zwischenstopp auf meiner Reise werden. Dieser Zwischenstopp hat sich zur bisher besten, authentischsten Erfahrung meiner Bali-Reise entwickelt. Nicht nur wurde ich herzlich empfangen, der Gastgeber war wahnsinnig hilfreich, nett und zuvorkommend. Er hat mich kostenlos auf die Kaffeeplantage gefahren (wo ich unbedingt hinwollte) und mich mit zur Reisernte genommen, wo ich mit anpacken durfte. Er hat mir so viel über die balinesische Kultur und über das Leben der Menschen vor Ort erzählt, dass ich sehr, sehr viel während meines kurzen Aufenthaltes gelernt habe. Auch ist er extra nochmal losgedüst, damit ich vor meiner Abreise meine Wasserflaschen auffüllen konnte - dafür er nichts berechnet. Zweimal hintereinander habe ich auf die Einladung auf einen Kaffee stattdessen ein volles Frühstück serviert bekommen, um das "Local Food" zu probieren. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, das Bett ebenso groß und sehr bequem, alles tip-top sauber. Eine Wahnsinns-gastfreundliche , balinesische Familie. Ich kann den Aufenthalt auf Rindus Homestay nur jedem empfehlen, der das ECHTE Bali kennen lernen möchte. Vielen vielen Dank für alles!

Ein Mückennetz an den Fenstern hätte geholfen, die Fliegen draußen zu behalten, ansonsten alles top.
