This place is for travellers not for turists

- jacuzzi - the traveller’s spirit/vibe (I have met here 2 friends) - breakfast was nice - staff were so lovely! They supported a lot!

- houses are so tiny, max for one person - the smell can be annoying - a LOT OF FLIES (but this is not owners issue)

A picturesque hut with lovely, helpful staff.

A cute hut with a lovely personal hot bath when ever I wanted one. The breakfast was good. Worth walking to the lakeside and taking a tour with Lake Batur boat.

This location is not for those that sleep light, traffic noise is loud and almost 24/7.

Basic, cute glamping experience.

The glamping triangle houses were clean and functional with small extras such as tea and coffee making facilities. The hot springs at the property were clean and relaxing.

I was disappointed that you couldn’t see either the lake or mountain from this accommodation. I was also surprised by the traffic noise right outside your room from trucks, jeeps and scooters all day and night.

Loved the location Perfect place to begin the hike to Mount Batur. Also loved to have private the hot springs just opposite my room to enjoy. Also arranged a private guide for the hike at short notice.

Uncomfortable

A very beautiful, rustic, and countryside-style place. It has a lovely hot spring and is very accessible for getting to the starting point of Mt. Batur. However, there are a few things worth noting: The showers are very uncomfortable. The rooms are extremely dirty, with ceilings full of grime and dust. If you lift the mattress, you’ll see how dirty the room really is. There’s a lot of noise since it’s right next to the road — it’s quiet around 10 p.m., but by 2 a.m. the traffic noise starts again, so you won’t get a good night’s sleep. These are areas that could be improved, but I’ll stay with the good service and the hot spring.

Cute place to unwind, but sleeping won't be good.

This is a charming and practical little place, it is nice to stay there. The swimming pool with hot spring water is really enjoyable, and relatively private (I was alone in it for hours).

The bathroom is the smallest I've ever seen. The place is not insulated from noise and actually very close to the main road, where traffic is heavy in the middle of the night, due to all people going to climb Mt Batur. So, you just cannot sleep well there. Just go climb Batur with everybody else !

Great location for a Mt Batur Hike!

Cute little huts. Stayed dark for extra sleep. Staff, although didn’t speak great English, were very helpful. Arranged guide for my trek. Offered bike hire. Laundry was right out front. Lovely natural spring pool. Easy walk to shops. Quick scooter ride to start of mt Batur trek. Cool location

Bed was on the floor… which wasn’t great for my sore legs (a me problem more than anything!). Hadn’t really considered that the bathroom was completely seperate to the room. So had to leave room to do bathroom stuff. Had to ask staff to fill the wee pools outside the huts so didn’t bother.

Would definitely recommend - clean and value for money

This is the second time I have stayed at Triangle House and I would definitely stay again. It is great value for money - very clean and you have your own hot spring right at your door. You do share with a couple of other houses, but everytime we have been there, we have been the only ones in the hot pool. Staff are very friendly and will organise anything you need. Great place if you want to climb Mt Batur for sunrise because the starting point is within walking distance from Triangle House. Staff even made a bonfire for us in the evening. Great to sit around after a fun day out.

Really nice, but..

Clean room, lovely surroundings and a fantastic hot pool. Very friendly staff and a nice breakfast!

I’m not sure how this place has such a high rating. The bed sheets and room had an unpleasant smell. The room had no proper light, just a small lamp with exposed wires hanging next to the bed. No aircon remote, and no hot water in the shower. To make matters worse, there was no water at all in the evening or the following morning.

Normal, Very near to Warm Natural Water resource. Tour guide was very happy and helpful.

House itself is in very bad condition, a lot of insects, toilet is very bad, Shower water is not going. A lot of noise from Road and insects. Not clean room.

Welcoming and comfortable stay

The camping pod was clean and tidy and had a very good bed. The site is in east walking distance to the supermarket, hot springs, ATM, restaurants and tour providers. It’s also nice and relaxing to chat around the fire in the evenings. The owner and others who work here are very nice, very helpful and can connect you with transport, trekking guides. The temperature in Kintamani was a welcome relief for me coming from hot and humid Ubud. Also got a break from mosquitos.

Great staff very kind and wanted only the best for us!

The staff were great, they gave us a great trek to mount Batur! We sat around the camp fire and met other lovely tourists. We shortened the stay to two nights whilst there and he kindly refunded us one night!

Awesome and enjoyable.

Owner very friendly and helpful. He helped with the hike sending his nephew-a very young boy who is really fit and knows his way around Mt Batur. Managed to get to the peak with a few shortcuts to reduce hiking time as we were slower than others. Overall a great experience.

We have been there for a night. The atmosphere was really warm and the fire in the evening is a really cool idea. We also have seen the sunrise from the mont batur with our guides. They did everything for us to have a nice time so thanks again.

It is noisy because of a road nearby, but we knew it and for the price and the fact we were here for a short night, it was ok ! Also a little bit cold at night in the room but fine. Really good for the price

BEST PLACE TO STAY!!!!! The owner and his family were super nice to us, he organize everything for the hike for a really good price, we had 3 breakfast included. Rooms and facilities are super clean and cozy, we had amazing night. I will recommend for sure

Friendly host :) and it's location is a few minutes walk from a few Warung for dinner and a mart for snacks, and of course Mt Batur trails. Not to mention how cute the triangle huts are! I found it cooler here than Ubud so keep that in mind, some might find relief in that :p

This place has so much potential! Unfortunately the light switches didn't work in the room, so no light. Sadly, no firepit the night I was there. There was no drinking water or water for the showers (let alone a hot shower), no breakfast either.

The owner was very nice and always helpful. There was a campfire every evening where all guest can get together and have nice talks. The little houses were very cute and had everything you need.

Fun experience in the triangle house and great pancakes made by host!

We liked the welcoming and the location because we walked directly from the hotel to the Mont Batur. The host helped us to find a restaurant and to hike up the Mont Batur.

We would have liked to have the option of transport to the hotel.
