Bilbao Matiko Tranquility near the Old town

This is a nice apartment within walking distance of the Guggenheim, the old town and many other sights. The apartment is located in a modest residential area that lacks a bit of enchantment, but you can find all you need there: supermarkets, pharmacies, bars, etc. The apartment itself is clean and well equipped with a microwave, toaster, washing machine, fridge, hairdrier, iron and ironing board, etc. It has a cute little 'balcony' adjacent to the kitchen where you can have your breakfast. The owners provide very complete and accurate information by e-mail and whatsapp on how to find the apartment, enter, and move around the city. Overall this is good value for money and an excellent base to explore the city.

When you book this, keep in mind that the whole check-in process and access to the apartment is electronic. There is no direct interaction with the owners. Access to the apartment is with an electronic key you get sent by e-mail and whatsapp. This also means that the owners have full remote control over the lock. In fact, before check-in and after check-out time you simply can't enter. This was not an issue for us, but if you prefer 'classical' check-in, access with a physical key, and some contact with the owners, perhaps this is not for you. Everything withing sight was clean, but there was a lot of dirt (dust, crumbs) under the sofa and under the bed. There were only two small rolls of toilet paper for our 4 day stay; sufficient but tight. The same went for the shampoo and soap dispensers which were only about 1/4 filled. There was diswasher detergent, but no tea towel to dry the plates and cutlery after you washed it. All these were not major inconveniences, but a few details can be improved for a '10'.

A spacious and very comfortable apartment and looks as though recently renovated. Very good location and excellent kitchen for longer stays.

Студиото е удобно и много добре оборудвано с уреди за готвене и хранене. Обслужването е дистанционно, влиза се с дигитален ключ. Около сградата има кафе магазини, хлебарница и магазин за плодове и зеленчуци. На 250 м над улицата има и малък ресторант с добра кухня.

Студиото се намира на кръстовище с интензивен трафик и е шумно през деня. Освен това, по време на престоя ни се ремонтираха фасадите на две сгради срешу спалнята на студиото и имаше непрекъснат шум от сутрин до вечер.

Bei Möglichkeit der Nutzung im Sommer, schöner, mit Glasfenster verschlossener Balkon. Gute Ausstattung mit Küchengeräten. Geräumiger Schrank im Schlafzimmer. Gute Lage abseits des Zentrums. Dies war aber fußläufig, rasch zu erreichen. In der Umgebung, viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf. Vermieter reagiert rasch auf Nachrichten.

Und war nicht bewusst, dass in der Wohnung kein Doppelbett, sondern lediglich ein französisches Bett vorhanden war. In der Küche hätte uns mehr zusätzliche Ausstattung gut getan. Z. B. Zucker, Salz und Pfeffer, Essig und Öl oder Kaffee. Dies alles zu kaufen, lohnt sich für 4-5 Tage nicht. Und eine FeWo ist für uns dazu da, sich selbst zu versorgen. Der Türöffnung- Mechanismus ist sehr laut, nachdem auch reguläre Miete darin wohnen und der Nachbar von uns wohl Nachtarbeiter war, war das sehr störend. Jede Nacht erfolgte eine Leerung, der vor der Unterkunft befindlichen vier Müllcontainer, morgens zwischen 3:00- 4:00 Uhr Anlieferung des Obsthändlers nebenan. Sehr komplizierter Zugang zum Haus und zum Apartment. TV bietet keine deutschen Sender an. Insgesamt konnten wir die guten Bewertungen von booking.com nicht nachvollziehen
